Special Family Sports Car for Weekends

So I’m looking for opinions and options guys. I’m looking for something special for weekends. 4 seater or at least a decent sized 2+2. Any help would be much appreciated. I have a budget of up to around £65k. I have a 6 year old and a 10 year old, plus myself and my wife. My wife is quite short, around 5foot 2 and I’m around 5 foot 9. My children are around a barrage height for their ages.
Anyway, I’m currently looking at the following options, opinions would be much appreciated and any other options would be much welcomed:
G80 M3 - nice overall option but I hate the front grill.
Mustang Dark Horse - Nice V8 rumble but it’s a ‘Ford’
Merc C63 coupe - Nice V8 but infotainment is dated.
Alfa Gulia QV - nice car and lovely Ferrari derived engine but very old platform now.
Maserati Gran Tourismo - nice V8 again but very old platform and no infotainment
Any other options guys? Opinions on the above too?
Thread title is confusing. Family sports car. No such thing. But then I go on to read the opening post and there is not a single sports car listed in the options. Anyway, I’m currently looking at the following options, opinions would be much appreciated and any other options would be much welcomed:

Well, from the above it would the the Maserati for me. Over a 911 as well. If you need rear doors, then the Quadrifoglio.

So guys, as I am 5ft9'......can my wife whom is 5ft1' fit behind me comfortably in a 992? If so, then my eldest son could easily just ride up front in the passanger seat with me.....its a choice between the 992 and the new G87 M2 now for me.
Any help would be much appreciated. 5ft9' upfront and someone of 5ft1' in the rear of a 992? Possible or not??

Completely possible. Whether she would like it for a significant period of time only you guys could tell. Any help would be much appreciated. 5ft9' upfront and someone of 5ft1' in the rear of a 992? Possible or not??
So an update. I went to see the new G87 M2, we all fitted in the car with ‘plenty’ of room in the back but I still wasn’t sold on the looks of it…still looks very blocky!
We are now looking at the new Gulia QV facelift that is open for orders ant our local dealership or the 992.
We managed to all fit into the 992, but could get cramped in 4-5 years. Love the car though!!! My wife was ok in the back too, as she’s only just around 5ft tall.

How about an 8 series? Two door GT with plenty of grunt and enough room in the back not to worry your kids for quite some time. And lets face it, once they're big enough the last thing they want to do is hang out with mum and dad at the weekend anyway :-)

Just buy an M3?
If the M2 is appealing on all but the looks, the M3 looks a million miles better despite still looking a bit daft.
Better yet buy an F80 with a manual gearbox.
Hate the G80 front grill, I actually think the M2 looks better. Love the F80 but it’s getting dated now.If the M2 is appealing on all but the looks, the M3 looks a million miles better despite still looking a bit daft.

That what I was thinking too (in regards to once they hit around 16, they won’t want to hang with us anyway) so may as well get the 911 anyway??http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/2023081207...

The drivetrain is proving reliable so that wouldn't be a reason not to buy one.
Is there any evidence or stats out there that state that the drive train is proving reliable? Also, do Alfa offer extended warranties on the QV? What is the max length that one could extend to??In your shoes I’d want something that is special to look at, sit in, and listen too.
Personally I would not look past a Rapide, followed by. Granturismo then a Conti GT. The Guilia QV if I wanted newer, but interior a bit low rent. Infotainment options exist aftermarket for a lot of cars- saw a very good one on a Granturismo recently.
