The Bargain PCP Deal Thread
Discussion
Hello
My 2008 passat is showing its age and hence needs replacing.
I'm looking for a large family car or a small SUV. Ideally a hybrid, but don't mind petrol either if its economical.
I'm considering a PCP (or even a contract hire) for the first time.
What are some good websites that I can keep an eye on for good pcp/lease deals?
So far, based on reading through some of the threads on here, I have been monitoring the following:
www.leasing.com
www.leasingoptions.co.uk
www.carwow.co.uk
www.new-car-discount.com
www.nationwidevehicecontracts.co.uk
Are there any other websites that are worth monitoring?
Is it true that generally there will be more pcp/lease deals around the March time before the number plates change again?
Would be grateful for any suggestions.

For PCH, look at www.leasing.comwww.leasecoco.com and www.whatcar.com/car-leasing/ - these are the main comparison sites. leasingoptions and nationwide are brokers, along with numerous others, so while you may get lucky with them on occasion, the comparison sites give you a better overview of the market. WhatCar leasing mainly has deals from main dealers rather than brokers, which usually means you don't have to pay an arrangement free, however the site itself is very annoying. Went into my local Audi (Knaresborough) off the back of the above.
A Q7 S-line 50Tdi over 48 months and 10,000 miles is £10k in and £599 a month.
Don’t think I’ll go for that.
Which just means your local dealer won’t match the offer. Buy through DTD (who are simply a broker and match you with a dealer somewhere in UK) if you want a better price.A Q7 S-line 50Tdi over 48 months and 10,000 miles is £10k in and £599 a month.

They looked astounded at the thought of that deal. Phrases like:
“Can’t be possible”
“That’s £10k off!”
“Must have been a stock car they were wanting rid of”.
Etc etc.
Nah, on a stock car they want to get rid of, you can get £17k off......“Can’t be possible”
“That’s £10k off!”
“Must have been a stock car they were wanting rid of”.
Etc etc.

It's more like "only" £14k discount on a car built to order

Interested in more details on this if you are ok to share. Mileage, dealer etc.
Yes DTD - Jim sorted it for me. It’s 10,000 a year for 4 years PCP. Not sure which dealer yet they are calling me (tomorrow / Monday).Go on DTD website and you’ll see they have a load of Q5s and Q7s offers that show the discount price, some are epic, I thought this one particularly good for me. I don’t need the comfort and sound pack, happy with the bigger engine and the S line trim. (3 more in my spec - Black, White and Silver)
It astounded me as I’d been talking to an Audi dealer in Walton and they assured me they had given me the best offer, then DTD called me, called them back to confirm the price. So far very good
