come to think of it i have hardly seen any XJs that are less than about 3 years old. Are they one of those type of cars which were very popular at first but people have just stopped buying? The "luxury" one is like a base model too. Not sure what that means in terms of kit. https://www.petervardy.com/jaguar/offer/xj-luxury

It has inspired me to look at used ones for when the S8 goes back.
It's all very tempting :-) I went to Jag dealership yesterday but they didn't have time to squeeze me for test drive without appointment, so have one for Wednesday now. Prices are quite competitive but I think it means they can be even better in 3rd and 4th quarter if sales number are not as expected.

ha i know you are in the same boat as me but slightly ahead! I would be concerned about getting another Jag though; they really are poor quality. Like an expensive Citroen. Blown2CV said:

Any idea if now is too early to book a replacement lease for December delivery?
I got in touch with mlq. The chap was not very accommodating with this deal. Says only blue black white available and additional £25pm at it. Takes it upto 8231 over 2yrs.
Has anyone dealt with this company before?
Are they reputable and has anyone ordered a grey?

For some cars you have to wait 5-6 months if there are delays. I never stopped looking at the deals and noted down the best ones for reference. I also visit dealerships and take test drives in different models, so I can pull the trigger if something good comes up. I know a lot of people order cars without test driving but I don't want to take the risk of being stuck in a car I don't like. In most cases you can order in one quarter and car have to be registered by end of next one. So from 1st of July most deals should be ok unless there are some specific restrictions.

Leasing a diesel at 5k/yr isn't a problem
Isn't it more like 2,500 + (23 x 225) = 7,675?

If fuel economy is taken out of the equation why would you pay the premium on a Diesel engine when you can have more fun in a petrol for less?
Still seems like a good deal though!

"Buying, leasing, borrowing, whatever" doesn't really cut it on a leasing thread

Did you speak to them to get that price?
Just going from website...http://www.stratstone.com/new-cars/jaguar/xe-2-0-i...
Also on a £199/month 0% PCP deal if you want to put in £6k (but that's for another thread )

I'm pretty dubious of the deal, the monthlies coming to exactly £200 on the dot seem very odd. Is that just me?
