Actual requirements (W&T etc) will always be from the funder, and therefore in the contract.
As for the full initial up front... well not saying it's impossible but there's no doubt it's very unusual.
My main issue is that I've received no contract or paperwork whatsoever, just bank details via email to send 2.5k to - all highly unusual and seems all a bit dodgy. As for the full initial up front... well not saying it's impossible but there's no doubt it's very unusual.
I have been on the hunt for a good deal on a large SUV to tow a big caravan. My Golf R goes back soon so looking at something a bit swanky. My local Audi dealer is trying to tempt me with the following deal, I have not seen anything really to compare it to see to, so would be keen to gauge people's thoughts.
Audi Q7 3.0TDI Quattro S Line Tip
3x35 £580 PCM Inc VAT
10k per annum

A 'suite'? Sounds like someone's trying to be as anonymous as possible.
I get that, I really do, as I wouldn't want my home address logged for everyone to see forever, but when you're asking for £2.5k upfront via un-refundable bank transfer, alarm bells ring for me...
Perhaps he really is a sound chap, looking to start up a good business (as he does have all the relevant information on the website, like company number etc) and we are too quick to judge, but you know how the saying goes - if it looks too good to be true / if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck / etc.
As a trading company, it would be a reasonable expectation that they have the capability to process credit cards - in which case I would pay on credit card for extra protection. If they don't offer it, well...

Looks like it.. The original listing on CHAL has been removed...So that's it isn't it?
Sorry to be slightly off topic but I have an S-Max arriving soon on a 2 year lease (probably 12-15k miles in that time).
I've been offered bodywork insurance for £350 for the term - covers up to 12 dings of up to 30cm/3mm deep each, or £150 towards fixing each larger one.
I'm inclined not to take it, and risk needing smart repairs. What do you think?
