I need to stop doing this but how about this one, anything missing spec wise?

Red seats don’t do it for me, but otherwise looks a nice spec with low mileage in good condition.
I have a guilty penchant for red leather

Looks like a lovely car in IMHO the optimum colour combo.

Looks a little on the pricey side, but then the best spec'd cars in the right colour combo usually arent cheap and its also an AUC

From the A/T advert they havent had it too long either - 15th Apr it was listed.

Does really look like a lovely car and is my perfect spec really, I’d like a sunroof in an ideal world

I'm not seeing it.... where specifically?

Its crying out for black grilles anyway. smile
Hard to tell -

Oh and must be one of the only people who like the chrome, it’s why I like these earlier examples of the Shadow Edition

That car isn't a Shadow Edition.

Yeah if you like the chrome grilles then that's a win.

I think it's an optical illusion re thinking there is damage, but easily rectified by them if there is in real life.
Sorry that was my terrible typing on my phone, that was supposed to say that’s the reason why I like the early examples rather than the shadow editions

I'm totally lost on pricing in this new world, what would you think this is worth?

I get the impression, reading posts on owner's groups, that a lot of these will be coming onto the market over the next few months. Insurance costs are going crazy, even owners with good driving histories saying their renewals have doubled, and 25 year olds getting quotes of multiple thousands.

Proper M cars are now cheaper to insure for sensible drivers. Too many baby Ms falling into the wrong hands and getting crashed.

£22.8k seems a lot for a private sale, getting on for approved used price for a later standard car.
This one is still under approved used warranty which is transferable to the new owner

My own view is ~10% less £19.5-20k

Agree on the forced sales - our LCI M135i insurance went from £350 a few years ago to ~£800 this year - we're mid 30's, 10 years NCB, no points or fault claims etc so hate to think what it is for younger people
£20k is what I was thinking, I guess there's no harm in throwing in an offer. I think its also on run flats so I'd want to factor in changing those.

I've just done a quote myself, very similar to you 32, 10 years no claims, £750 definitely higher than i was expecting.

So life has got in the way but just had a look at these again, it seems the prices are still very strong, potentially higher than when I was looking earlier in the year!

Also thoughts on this example?

The colour would put me off buying it personally but that aside it looks very well specced so if you are happy with the colour it looks well worth a look
Sadly I’m struggling to get past that as well, I’m not a fan of red, but other than that the spec is brilliant

Ive just insured mine for another year but now I am wondering if it is worth keeping it given I covered 1600 miles in the last 12 months. Not sure if its something the OP would be interested in. Not trying to circumvent the rules and will happily list on classifieds if needs be.
What’s the spec of the car?

Did you see a increase in insurance?
