Black Advance, got in early so £250 per month with no deposit, could have had an Elegance for £179 no deposit but wanted the extra features and I prefer the light interior. DM Keith Grimsby, 300 mile round trip but well worth it, hope I don’t run out of juice on the way home ??
Wow that is quick.. I think brindley will struggle with the deliveries

Using Gocompare gap insurance tool I am getting £154 for 3 years cover, as I opted for a 3 year pcp. Anyone else managed to get a quote that is competitive?

Direct Gap are offering £138 3 years policy suitable for PCP.

Try Direct Gap, I used 3 years and £36,615. That was £138. Best price. God knows if it is legit, that is why lots of gap insurers have stopped taking business.
Looks good.. Have overall reviews as well and one of the big players in gap insurance market... Now have to find the difference in different type of gaps

Enquired with Norton Way this morning and they sold nearly all yesterday with just a few white Elegances left.

GAP is essential on this deal. True market value is only ~£30k now, so might only be ~£20k in 18 months time and that would be the insurer payout. If the car is written off, there would still be nearly £30k owed just to walk away. You can't hand a different car back!

You might as well go for vehicle replacement instead of RTI, as the price of sourcing a new one will be well above £30k once this deal is done.
How t does vehicle replacement work.. So let's say this is written off and insurance paid 20k.. Gap paid 8k for the pending finance.. Plus it will pay 30k extra or just 2k extra for replacement???

Honda PCP blurb says:

You have the right to withdraw from your PCP agreement within 14 days from the start of your agreement. You can also partially or fully settle your agreement at any time (subject to the terms of the agreement).

What would the profit be on a black Elegance, anyone know of the top of their head?
Not worth the headache to be honest..

Spoke to the sales guy I’m dealing with today to sort out collection date. He said he would sort out the reg etc and that kick starts a lot of things. Said to keep an eye out for the finance paperwork email that I can electronically sign.

Mine is being delivered to the port on Friday, and Luke at Cannock says he will get it to me asap. Now to work out how to get to Cannock, they are half a mile from the railway station.

Gap products are being completely removed from the end of the month according to the FCA. Not sure if I should buy or leave it for when new products come out, but its going to be more than the £138 I have been quoted surely.

Same here, the light interior is very nice, its strange the light interior comes with a pan roof when it's the black interior that could do with the extra light. The auto boot and heated steering wheel are nice.
I was tempted but the only put me off was manual removal of pan roof cover... Even 3008 2011 model has automatic cover for pan roof

Got back on one ‘tank’ with 40 miles to spare, so around 200 mile range, not bad considering 95% was motorway speed, the computer said 2.9mi/ kWh which seems about right, no heating on though and around 11/12 degrees today. The car is rather nice to be honest, it drives perfectly fine, maybe I'm easily pleased these days but as a runaround car it’s more than adequate. Tech is good, the screen works well and is nicely set out, everything you need frequently is at hand. Dealer was very good, seemless hand over and a nice bunch of flowers for the good lady. Nice car, cracking deal and painless buying experience, whats not to like.

Really nice... What all was the documentation in the handover pls

But on day 1, you owe the full amount which is £45k. Or am I missing something?
Nope. It is the value after discounts... Means the cash price around 30k ish
