Hilarious to be honest. The first salesman was more interested in selling me warranty and guard-x. He then tried closing me with every line in the book to put a £500 deposit down on Tuesday night after I had told him I wanted to check the insurance etc in the morning.

I called back on Wednesday and paid the amount in full. It was prepped that day and I picked it up last night. So I couldn't fault their efficiency.

The only annoyance was that according to the service book it is due a service but the car states it's. It due for another 20k miles.

I was assured upon pick up I'd see the proof of the service that has just been done by them.

Long story short, it was serviced by BMW which is backed up by a record from Vines but the previous owner didn't get the book stamped. So I feel they were blagging. But it all turned out ok!

The car was prepped well and I love it!!

Looks nice, enjoy. I've heard some horror stories from big motoring world but it sounds like your experience wasn't too bad.

They are what they advertise.

They won't haggle on price but they went from £1800 to £750 for a 3 year warranty but I wasn't interested.

They really try pushing the warranty and guard-x. They also try pushing finance even after you say you don't want it.

According to book price I got this £2k under it. So I can't complain that they didn't fill it up with petrol.

I wouldn't want to do 15k miles per year in one though! Although I could of done it in a Tamora! (I prefer the straight six lump!)

The 28i s a very nice car, but the last one we had we couldn't give away, it went for £17500 in the end (same spec. As yours) but was black on black. At least yours has a service pack on it so there is no point letting big motoring world service it.

That is basically what I paid for this one. My insurance company value it at £21k.

It's a lovely car with the perfect mix of performance and economy for me. I'm not fussed about re sale at the moment!
