friend of mine looking at it at the moment. I believe it belonged to quite a well-known person in the motoring world who has sadly passed away.
then you get to spend the remaining 20k on cocaine and hookers![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

That's a hell of a lot of car for the money!Badger71 said:
Oh, and XFR would definitely be in the mix if I hadn't just spent the last 3 years in an xf.
It would seem too similar if that makes any sense.
I had a similar first world problem last month with almost the same list of potentials but opted for an XFR as I was coming out of a C55 AMG which I loved but now I've moved on I have absolutely no regrets, I'm smitten. I did have to change the exhaust as I missed the AMG soundtrack but the Elite RR system I've now got more than compensates. It would seem too similar if that makes any sense.
My whittling down process went like M5- not mad about the styling, C63- too similar to what I had, whisper it, even in real world performance. M3- E9x lacked the torquey delivery I favor and F80 still a bit pricey. Same with the N/A RS4 and it's replacement. RS6 bit bargey and the running costs put me off. All lovely, lovely things though.
I've owned both an RS5 and an RS4, they're basically the same thing except the RS4 can fit a hippo bag of hedge clippings in the back and lacks a decent subwoofer for the B&O. They're both very nice cars with the ability to put all of their power down in all but the worst conditions. They do have the nose heavy slight understeer problem that plagues most RS models and because they can put down all of their power nearly all the time they aren't massively exciting despite having 444bhp. On the upside they're great in the wet, not bad in the snow and with the sports exhaust sound great, redline is at 8250rpm.
I've always had a soft spot for C63's, that 6.2 makes a noise that is simply incredible for the money. The running costs will be higher than the Audi's though.
