Has anyone seen any decent deals for a XC40? Her in doors wants one but it has to be the higher power ones (190+ HP), 4wd and auto. Cheapest I’ve seen is +£2500 + £350 a month.
I ordered an XC40 with Santander a few weeks ago. I've been checking for offers on it for about the last 6 months and the current santander offers are about as good as I've seen. As another poster has already said, if you call them up they can quote you for any Volvo model, not just the ones advertised on their site. The minimum number of miles per year they offer is 8k. That has to be the cheapest mileage rate I have ever seen. Go 10k over the mileage allowance at it should cost you a grand total of £8 at the end of the contract. It would be great if the contract made the same mistake!

@HMG1K Do you have a contact at huddersfield ? The S line sportback is no longer listed and I've tried and enquiry through whatcar and they are taking an age to get back to me.
Audi have lent me a 4.0tdi A5 Sportback while our A6 is with them. The A5 is without doubt the worst car I've ever driven. Save yourself the phone call. Explains why they are/were cheap to lease. UKADV said:

What makes you say that? I've inquired about one of the deals with them so would like to know what it's like and how you've found it!rlg43p said:

I don't know who is agreeing or disagreeing with what... my point is that i can't think of any justification that someone may feel they have as to why it
it is essential that have a new car on a lease.

I'd actually say the interior is nice - not new A6 nice, but still very well put together and fairly high rent. The ride is harsh on sports suspension, though, and the steering is the numbest I have every encountered - zero feedback through it. The TFSI engine is smooth, right up to the redline and fairly brisk. It's very very economical on a steady motorway run.
Basically it's good transport, but it's without any kind of soul.

Thanks for the feedback good to know! Not too bothered about if the interior isn't quite as up to spec as the new A6, i'd be coming from a Fiesta which i'm currently paying £30 a month less for on PCP so big step up for little extra anyway.I'd actually say the interior is nice - not new A6 nice, but still very well put together and fairly high rent. As has been said the ride is poor. Crashes and bangs. Low rent interior to my eyes. Rattles terribly. Flat engine which the gearbox forces to race. Not the most relaxing ride. I get they are good value but all you're getting is a badge. Sorry to be negative but I am really surprised how poor it is.
Pretty much in agreement with all of that bar the interior comment - not sure what else around the same price has a better interior tbh? New 3 series perhaps, but not much else I can think of.Gearbox isn't much cop as a manual, so S-Tronic perhaps worth looking at if you are gonna get one.
Poorest feeling Audi interior I've been in lately was a courtesy Q2 - hateful thing to drive and interior with hard plastic everywhere.
I find our 2017 A4 interior (which is much the same as the A5) a comfortable and nice place to be - solid, well built with no rattles/squeeks and with the older style MMI wheel instead of touchscreen, really simple to use the sat nav/entertainment with the 'right' mix of dials, touch sensitive physical buttons and tactile dials.
I'm not a fan of leather in general, so chose the Alcantara/leather mix which is wearing very well after 3 years.
Piano black trim not so much...shows little swirls and scratches, but that's the same for piano black trim regardless of manufacturer

this sort of thing has been the general theme of criticism the A5 has had since it was first released. You could argue an A4 would be a better option.
