Cars like the Yaris will sell quickly on Facebook as everyone is looking for a cheap runaround. I’ve seen a lot advertised for more than I’d be willing to pay for them but presumably they sell.

On the other hand my Son in law got rid of his Focus through WBAC. The only got 500quid for it and could almost certainly have got more selling privately but really didn’t want the hassle. Especially as he knows absolutely nothing about cars.

It also depends if your dad needs the money and if a few hundred quid will make a difference to him. Might be easier on him and you of course just getting shot of it cheap.

I just sold an A1 - Paid for autotrader, free ads on PH, facebook and gumtree.

Every enquiry came from the facebook and gumtree which annoyed me, as i'd paid for autotrader. But...one phone call, local buyer, instant sale via autotrader.

A lot of enquiries but not viewings from the other sorts. Lots of dreamers.
