£10-20K Auto Focus Sized Hatch

Nice! Good looking car that.
I bought the estate version at the start of the year, 69 plate 2.0 Excel in that same red and same wheels. It's a cracking colour, only snag is it's a 2 stage paint and a right bd to match for touching in stone chips!
Perfect family car, the one let down has been the comically weedy horn, soon remedied that by fitting a dual tone horn kit. £20 on Amazon and money well spent!
Also, if your car is like mine and has the earlier version of the infotainment system that lacks Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, you can get it updated to add these at the next service for £50.

My local dealer had a red estate with 70K miles on it. Quite a few chips and driver seat side bolster very worn.
I thought the Excel had 18" alloys? Mine has 17"
Not tried the horn yet but think I remember it mentioned on a review I watched.
Was trying to set Android Auto up earlier today and don't think it is installed.
The dealer has just serviced it. £120 for upgrade without service.
A little annoyed they didn't do it but will probably just get it done. The ad said it was AA and ACP 'capable'

I've got the same engine in an auris, does everything I need it too, not keen on the grey primer either, happy to hold on, one will crop up at some point.
Fair enough. My Mazda had around 170BHP and I think I would have been disappointed with the 1.8.
Never tried one though and they are the most popular.
Corolla supposed to be a big step up from the Auris.
My Grandad has just got a 2.0 Corolla Estate Trek edition, really nice motor he is over the moon with it.
He upgraded from an Auris Hybrid, which my misses also has, and the Corolla is night and day better. The Auris was a far cheaper car new, and used (pre used car boom especially) and whilst the drivetrain tech is brilliant the car does feel fairly budget and basic.
The biggest complement I can give the Corolla is that the fit and finish feels like a Golf to me.

Great choice
We're nearly 2 years in with our 2020 GR 2.0 and it's been perfect. Averaging 44mpg with tons of short trips.
On a Toyota service plan so we are covered for the next 4 years
I was offered a 2 year service and MOT plan for £33/Month I think. Was £700 and somethingWe're nearly 2 years in with our 2020 GR 2.0 and it's been perfect. Averaging 44mpg with tons of short trips.

Seemed expensive but I have no idea of the servicing costs on these cars.

Big is circa £349 (every 2 years), small is around £179 at a Toyota dealer (to keep the 10 year warranty).
Thank You.https://www.toyota.co.uk/owners/servicing-and-afte...
£33/Month for approved used Family/SUV
I guess I would have to pay 24 Months £792
Doesn't seem worth it.
