Like how much ? Assume as its going to a diesel engine over summer? still interested in what the deal is
Diesel?

Anyway. It’s 6 plus 23, 10k per year
£416 a month

1. Stable are never cheap
2. Pre Xmas, I had a 3+23, 12k a year for £424 via Wessex

Doesn’t seem good to me
I called & asked for a test drive - sales chap said was flipping to a diesel at summer - and agree, doesn't look a good deal to me but thanks
Confused, the dealer was changing his car from an S4 to a diesel, or you think he said the S4 was becoming a diesel??

The dealer said the engine in the S4 after summer would be a diesel - odd I said & he started banging on about blah blah poweroutputs/economy blah

I wasn't saying stable are good for prices, that's why I was asking if anyone had seen any extra support. Perhaps with some negotiation with a company that does it cheaper than stable.

Wouldn't have thought so considering diesel hasn't got the best reputation right now....

Well the sq5 was diesel last time, although it looks like it will be petrol only for the uk this time round.

I would hazard a guess that the sales person is under target for diesels this month and clutching at straws to get a heavy oil unit shifted

Generally speaking, would you expect to see better deals on stock vehicles (i.e. they need to get rid of them sooner rather than later) or factory orders or is there no pattern?

I emailed about this 2 days ago to be told they'd all gone, I was offered an M-sport instead at about £225pm.

If I were you, i'd head down to your nearest Volvo and Audi dealer ASAP. I did both on Sunday, and the V90/S90 was immediately discounted due to the sheer size of the things! They're like ocean liners!
That's what makes them so tempting! This must be the best value lease, per yard of car?

Is this an amazing deal or a so so deal!!?

I have a quote. If Any one wants to order one please PM and I’ll check with dealer that they can take more orders. I won’t charge a brokers fee for all my hard work haggling
Could they do a re-quote for a 3+23 quote? I'd be interested as i didn't go through with my current one but i'm regretting it now.

Sigh. I wasn't saying it was. I was asking if anyone had seen any 'extra' support for the S4, as Stable had said there was extra discount.

19% of a list price that nobody pays....you can get a nearly new low miler for two thirds of thaf list price. for white goods cars i wouldnt be fussed if it had been an ex-demo, not for 10k anyway.
No one ever said people paid price list. It's supposed to be a benchmark. Like comparing the official mpg of 2 cars. Everyone knows you can rarely achieve it but it remains a comparison tool. Having said, varying amount of discounts does skew things a bit but it's still a decent ball park metric when using a bit of thinking.

That doesn't seem that great considering you can get over £3000 off on a PCP deal.
