Got the confirmation on a C43 amg premium saloon. 6+23 10k miles. £560 a month. More than I normally pay for CH but wanted a change from the 'regular' cars.
Followed one of these today, not sure if it had a fancy exhaust on but it sounded ace! Put the sound of my S4 to shame anyway Adam y0 said:

Both my local dealers say they will have demonstrators in the next 2 weeks.
Zenauto leasing actually has 3 E-Tron models in stock for leasing. But at the regular price, i tried to get them to price match with no luck.
I went for the L4L deal and looking around, its a very good price. Delivery was quoted as 14-16 weeks, that was last week.
I saw the car in Geneva, very nice, i have another Audi and the build quality is excellent. At that time i didn't think it was in my price range for leasing so didnt get too excited.
What colors have people seen in dealers?

I got my deal approved and order placed on Friday for a Leon Cupra DSG Lux from Leasing Options.
I've gone for 9+23, 12,000 miles at £254.32 per month with £2288 + £199 fee upfront.
I'm hoping for delivery in about 3 weeks as the only car they had in the batch arriving this month happens to be the colour I'm after (Mystery Blue).
A couple of question to anyone in the South or South East who has got a Seat from Leasing Options:
Did you opt for transporter or driven delivery?
Is there are charge for transporter delivery and if so, how much was it?
Cheers,
DC

ooh, i had not spotted that! The above 400 option requires another 800 option for super duper climate control! 'Free' heated seats is progress at least. First world problems, I know.
Maybe i could live without the ACC... ( I use it every day - be it my usual 25 mile unclassified/B/A road commute or longer motorway journeys. Keeps your distance really well - yet my front bonnet is still pepped with chips!
That 2k 'tour' pack covers Adaptive Cruise Assist, Predictive efficiency assistant, Camera-based traffic sign recognition, Collision avoidance assistant, turn assist, Lane departure warning with emergency assist. Most/all of which are a bit 'meh' other than the CAA which again, on the Golf is great (and standard on the R).
Have you had a del date for yours yet? Guildford's a hike for me, but very tempted! Thanks for taking time to comment
Heated seats are unnecessary IMHO as you are preconditioning before you leave. This morning we had a frost, car set to an 06:30 departure @ 22 degrees. Car toasty and frost free (other than the rear window which required the heater element). Maybe i could live without the ACC... But, on the return journey they can be a great way of staying warm without wasting energy on heating. More important in smaller battery cars to be fair though.simonwhite2000 said:

I spoke to some Audi dealers to see who would have an e-tron in stock. Short ver: no one any time soon, it seems. I also got a comparative quote to the e-tron quote being discussed in the sporadic thread above - Audi said all deals come from them and it would be the same price anyway. So I configured... resulting price = ~50% more expensive than lease4less.
There's no way they'd match lease4less! I just don't see it happening. The lease4less prices are the only way to make it a viable option - if they deliver. They told me the financer is Lex not VWFS. I went to the Cheltenham dealer and they have a demo car just in (but they wouldn't let me drive it). They told me that delivery would be July. In the flesh, the car is big (ie. Q5 LWB). I have been down the extras list and per Lease Deal Laws the only extra I'd be willing to cough up for is £750 for decent paint. But alongside the options in my S5, does it stack up? Meh. Build quality yes, but I'd definitely be going without all the whistles.
The paint options are surprisingly scant for Audi. Maybe they're holding back for future versions of the car...?

Thanks. Why are Audi so useless? I've asked Tetbury and Oxford if they have stock, Cheltenham is just up the road! I might pop over there this weekend. I peered at a neighbours Q7 - it's SO massive. Good dimensions comparison site I found the other day - https://www.automobiledimension.com/audi-car-dimen...
Agree with heated seat options comments above, and given has front as std anyway, all good. Maybe I can forego the ACC and go for a better paint option. Did see a comment somewhere that the base trim is black plastic, so black looks better anyway, maybe I'm wrong. My quote expires with L4L soon, so best ask them to refresh it... actually getting tempted in the absence of an IPACE deal. As someone else said, maybe when the Model 3 arrives they will do some deals - doubt it tbh (requires some awareness of the market which seems to be lacking...!)
Spoke to Evezy about their IPACE option (799 a month - not bad for 12k p/a if you need it). 2k deposit too though, which does turn the maths up a notch.

Just a point in the deposition for the I pace with Evezy, that deposit is simply a deposit that will be returned to you upon return of the car. Please check that with them but that's how I understand it. It's not an upfront payment like on a lease. s1m0nc said:

Not as much difference as at first appears between the e-tron and the i-pace. On 8k miles over 3 years an i-pace is £638/month (£658 for 24 months)Spoke to Evezy about their IPACE option (799 a month - not bad for 12k p/a if you need it). 2k deposit too though, which does turn the maths up a notch.
E-Tron on 2 years is £593

Ahh, I don't think mine's even in the country yet. I'd love to believe that it's sat there ready for delivery but as I only ordered on Friday it feels unlikely. Not to worry, I got my P&J (986S) back from 5 weeks at the specialist yesterday so I have a toy to play with now until the Cupra arrives
How long does it normally take to get a car ordered. Tried to order a Kuga a few weeks ago, competed the credit check form, told all good, then I get contacted by a second person at the dealership to fill in another credit check form, then I get contacted by a third person to confirm if it was my email address, I confirm. Nothing for a week, email back and ask what's happening, she tells be they are in the process of ordering my car and to refer any questions to sales. It's now been a further 2 weeks and nothing. Is this normal? This is a Ford main dealer btw.
At what point am I legally obliged to accept the vehicle given that I've only signed a credit search form? I feel like looking elsewhere the communication has been so poor.
Thanks.

That's correct yes - will get deposit back when switch or return veh. In theory 2 years time for comparison though.Gassing Station | Car Buying | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
