I'm not angry, I'm happy :-)

The off topic chat is mostly lease related anyway so it's still interesting, it's not a problem really is it, like I said just skip over the posts that don't interest you. Simple!

Could you let me know who is offering it? Private message is ok. Stock or factory order?

If it's Black Edition, it's good price. Cheapest Black Edition I've seen is around £13800 from dealer in Eastbourne.

I'm after one and also chasing A6 AllRoad as I saw good deal but it's a stock car. Now calling dealers and trying them to match it for factory order.
Yes black edition and i think they are stock. it is with Blake Winterburn of Jardine Motors 0151 224 7636 blake.winterburn@jardinemotors.co.uk in addition to the A8 offer they have been given some manufacturer support for all their vehicles until 5pm today apparently.

He said the allroad depreciates more than the average so his deals on them are not so hot.

if you could say i introduced you I get £50 so would be grateful, will chambers is the name.

Best of luck.
Huge thanks for this - have just fired off an email. Annoying as I'm checking this twice a day! I don't actually need a car until December... Does anyone think I'm better off waiting for deals in the next quarter?

Thanks again.

Hi guys,

What's the truth in VW hitting there quota for the £1500 dealer contribution, is this per dealer specific?
what does a deposit contribution have to do with leasing?
I assume everything, with my Touareg deposit was just over £3k to VWFS, I then got back £1k of that direct into my account before the lease commenced.

Dealers seem happy enough to get your monthly lease figures down by offering rebates on initial payment.

I was offered £800 back if I bumped 1st month payment from £1000 to £1800 to get monthly below my target figure.

You haven't been haggling hard enough sunshine wink

Supposedly, I secured last one yesterday in afternoon, it's already in stock but they agreed to wait until end of quarter. Didn't pay reservation fee yet, as documents not processed.

When I called around 12.00, I was told I can have any colour as it's possible to change it on pre-ordered car. I sent my config as agreed on the phone, so they can check what's ordered but when I called 3h later to chase, there was only one car left, in stock, without any option. If it doesn't work, I will wait and see and maybe there will be another sell-off on A6 Allroad or standard estate.

This deal was offered by Jardin, but I'm sure other groups may want to fill in their production slots. And there will be some stock cars hanging around as well. If you go on Audi website, current model is already gone and new one is featured but without any prices and dates.

Possibly a stupid question, but is fleet not exclusively for business customers?

Off the top of my head I can name the following dealers: Vindis, Lookers, Inchcape, JCT600. Any more that I've missed?

No, they can do PCH as well. At some smaller places, salesmen deal with both: retail and business/fleet. In most cases, retail people won't be aware of any deals unless you give them numbers you want to get, so it's better to start with fleet.

Sytner - West London Audi, couple more in London, 14 in total.
Marshall Motor Group - Coulsdon

Any merit to phoning around different fleet depts within the same group?

Hi,

I'm still unsure whether to go for a golf r estate or something like an audi s4 avant. I'm pretty happy with with what a good deal looks like for a golf but no idea for the audi.

what s4 deals have we seen before and can we expect any deals again this year?

In my experience , in a group ,the fleet dept will be based in just one of the dealerships, depends how big the group is I guess.

As far as I'm aware the Golf R Estate deal has ended.

Also in the local automotive press, Audi have put the S4 & S5 engines on STOP.

Calm down mate, what's with the attitude? If reading this thread makes you so angry and gets you so upset then maybe you shouldn't read it anymore. People are going to go off topic, fact. Get over it.

Will you 2 get a room! Gosh! Take your domestic elsewhere. Perhaps on a Loose Women forum!

There is another thread where deals only are posted. Hasn't been anywhere near as successful as this one which is on Vol 4 with mega pages each time. A little off topic chat is ok especially given the chat almost always still has a Leasing or car buying theme.

Yeah, I did my homework, PCH that is coming to around 23% of the on the road price, there was a few that went really quick, there is still offer on the Standard but it is a factory order with a long wait. They tried PCP on me and when I laid out the numbers in front of him, within 2 minutes , he said ..ehmm, i can see you came prepared..did not stop them trying to swindle me out of 2k though..
Went to 4 different showrooms with a quote on Allroad Sport at 326£ on 10k and they all though I'm making it up or missing the VAT.
They just p***ed me off by being either ultra cheeky in trying to mess about with the contract even though it was crystal clear in writing, or really bad with numbers and details, both options not good especially in Audi where they expecting you to pay top money. While I was waiting, 2 different people went to service in this dealership with some issues and been told there is more then a month waiting time for courtesy car, which with over 300 used and approved cars in the yard is frankly insulting to say the least.
Please let us know how this turns out and if you need to get the message out to boycott this dealership!
Makes sense just to go with the dealer offering the best price though even if this is over email/phone. I did this with the golf deal - handled by Breeze VW who are 270 miles away but were fine to deal with (free driven delivery included in the deal).

Is there much difference on dealing with a dealer compared to a lease brooker?

Any benefit or disadvantage of the two from personal experience?

Dealers are usually cheaper and you won't pay an admin fee, also cuts out the middleman if an issue arises or if you want to check progress etc.

I have had a call from business manager of that dealership within 20 min of sending that email to everyone in the management.
Apologetic but did not really explained what happened and why, never bothered to offer at least the privacy glass for free, just said the car will be in stock so If i change my mind I can come back..yeah, right, let me think about that for a sec..umm, thanks but no thanks...
