In a word, no. Not without charging on route. Have a play with www.abetterrouteplanner.com (click on more settings).
Thanks, this is very useful.
However even with the long range leaf, that is meant to have well over 200 miles range, according to this, I would need to charge it for 5 minutes for my 144 mile round trip.
I don't know if this is because most of the trip is on the Motorway.
I maybe able to incorporate going to the gym somewhere along this journey as I only do it once a week.

Hi guys. Anyone know what the effect on road tax will be after April?

Managed to get one of the cheap A6 deals (amortised monthly payment £300 on 1+24) needing to be registered before April. However this would mean handing current car back thereby incurring early termination fee of £500.

Weighing it up and might need to cancel order. Just wondering if deals are likely to be significantly more post April?

I cannot comment on the tax situation but would be very interested in your deal if you decided to cancel.
Was it the A6 Black Edition 2.0 TDI Saloon?

Hey bud,

I've tried emailing you but it says you don't accept emails.

Would you mind contacting me, IF you cancel I'd be happy to take your offer if you wouldn't mind

I think road tax has only gone up by £10 or £20 on the A6 I’m not aware of any significant changes so Leases should remain roughly the same. The bit that’s more unlikely is that you’ll find an A6 @ the 17/18% Mark

It doesn’t work like that, theyd have to requote you separately and it’d be todays rate. The only way with VWFS to transfer is for him to take out the deal and transfer it to a company.

Anyone seen any deals for any of the nicer EV's lately?

Thinking about getting rid of my 911 and running a model 3 or ipace through the business for the tax breaks.

All the good deals seem to have evaporated

Just signed up for one of the 308 1.2 gt line from Nationwide.

Been thinking about it, the maintenance cost (when compared to what I have paid on better cars) is quite high.

Can I source that myself and tell Nationwide to cancel that element ( I am in 14 days)

If so, I know of Autoserve, who else is there?

For info, maint is £35.59, Rental is £167.89

it's not like they won't spot it at some point so you're just delaying the inevitable. Get on the phone to them or at the very least put the money aside ready to pay up backdated because it will happen.

Happened to my mate on his Audi S3. Sadly he had missed a letter due to a bereavement in his immediately family but Audi ended up taking the car back. He offered to make up the payments but they were not having it. I'd suggest your friend contact the funder and put this right just to be on the safe side, don;t leave it to chance.

Due to a change in circumstances, I am looking to exit a lease early. Speaking to VW Finance, it could be novated to a Limited Company (unfortunately not a private individual). Details are as follows:

Car: Audi A4 Allroad 2.0 TDI
Colour: Solid black with black leather
Delivered: March 2018
Lease expiry: 26th March 2021
Current mileage: 6,000
Mileage allowance: 16,000 (i.e 10k miles remaining)
Mileage excess charge: 13.33 pence per miles

Includes maintenance.

Car has a high spec as standard including CarPlay. The only extra I added were folding mirrors.

Payments are £217.11 a month, so a year of cheap motoring available for somebody here.

Car is in excellent condition. A few scuffs to the alloys which I can have done prior to novation.

Car is located in London, NW6.

Please DM me if this is of interest.

Looking for something to replace my VRS when it goes back and come across this:

Audi A4 Avant
35 TFSI Black Edition 5dr [Comfort+Sound]
Petrol | Manual | FWD

£1,098.49 x 1 (Inc £240 fee)
£286.16 x 23

Based on 8k per annum.

Comes in at 20.14% (though yes on 8k not 10k)

Eastern Western Motor Group have quoted me the following for a VW Arteon 2.0 TSI Elegance on 5k miles:-
£2k deposit, then 23 x £221.16, which seems reasonable ? The finance is through VW Financial Services.

They actually want a deposit of £4,558, but "there is a dealer cashback of £2,558 paid to you after you have taken delivery of the vehicle" - is this normal practice ?
