I wouldn't be too hasty. Wait a couple of weeks at least before thinking that you're in the clear, as any formal charges will be sent to you in writing in the post.

Oh crikey never thought about that...

I said to the guy I was surprised, but he said it must be within their tolerance.

I've recently signed up for the 220i Active Tourer M Sport Auto with Gateway2Lease for £181.91 on a 9x23 (5000 miles) so:
(181.91 * 23) + 1637.19 + 180 = 6001.12 = 250.05 amortised per month

This is 19% list on this model (£32065) and with metallic paint, although to correctly work out the percentage of the deal it's best to work it out on a price from someone like carwow or drive the deal.

Still, not a bad price though

Went for the same car but over 3 years as I had to add a few extras - can’t exist without heated seats and LED lights these days!

When are they quoting delivery? My original September date has now gone back to late November.

I suspect you will qualify to get a car at business rates where companies offer different rates for business, but you will still need to pay the VAT
Hello Tom, can you elaborate on this "car at business rates" ? I am curious as I have the same allowance, took a PCH and pay monthly incl VAT but never looked in to business rates.
BMW for example offer cars cheaper to business, but might let a personal lease happen at that rate if the person has a car allowance IIRC. It has been spoken about on here before.

for anyone who is interested, good news for me. the GLE delivery can be delayed until end of August.

By the way this was after I spent the last day and a half chasing MB Liverpool. still nothing from Yes Lease even though MB have said that they have informed Yes Lease of this.

Lets see how quickly they can come back to me.

Is this in stock or a factory order? VW aren't taking factory orders right now because of WLTP.

From another group:

You cannot currently place a factory order (either through a leasing company or dealer) for either a hatchback or estate Golf 7.5R. Orders will not be accepted by SLI and in fact orders will not be accepted until at least October (all going well). If a leasing company or VW dealer tells you otherwise, you are being lied to. I would go as far to say that leasing companies would be breaking their own code of conduct if they knowlingly accepted a deposit etc. in this scenario for a car if they knew it could not currently be ordered or delivered when they are aware it can't be. In particular, if you have signed-up for one recently though a leasing company (over last few weeks) I suggest you seriously consider cancelling your order whilst you still can without penalty. If anyone would like further info please feel free to PM me, cheers.
Would it be possible to link me to this group/message: I'm possibly in the situation mentioned and want to run it past the leasing company to see what their response is... TIA

BMW will now match the business lease price deals for Personal.

It's just a case off adding vat. Previously it was higher due to lower residual values from personal leases compared to business. Well thats what the BMW business manager told me.

If it hasn’t been marked down on the handover sheet you’re not liable for anything. Anything could happen from when the bca driver picks it up,travel back to camp, storage for a few weeks.

That's what I was just looking at, the report says no damage reported. His Ipad took photos of all the damage.

It says vehicle may be inspected at a defleet centre for any additional charges, but given they noted the damage and acknowledged then unless they find anything new i don't think we can be liable.

This looks a good deal. May have to pop to skoda today or tomorrow and have a look close up at one. Not my ideal car but I'm becoming reigned to the fact I'd i want another lease car u have to be less fussy!
Though I prefer the new peaguot 3008 or 5008 but can't find them at this price( like the interiors most)
I ordered a 3008 GT Line Premium (1.2l engine) through Stoneacre Peugeot Chesterfield last month...
1+35 at £288 a month for 8000mpa. Due to be built in September.
No idea if that price is still available but might be worth a call if a 3008 is what you'd like. I dealt with a Daniel Broom.

Hey guys

New here, currently running a Nissan Leaf on £175 a month with £175 deposit, at the time it was a steal, but Nissan want silly money for the new leaf, so going to be going lease route I reckon...

Our second car is a 12 plate Mazda 6 sport 185, so polar opposite in cars, would love a Land Rover but I guess lease prices on them are silly money

I've just signed up for the V90 Cross Country T5 via Santander. https://www.santanderconsumer.co.uk/123contracthir...

18month deal
£359p/m
no deposit
10k miles p/a (15k in total)
Free metallic paint
Delivery expected in October

The Volvo website configurator has the car at c.£45k so seems a decent deal.

How can they do that?
Any damage noticed afterwards could be disputed as to when it happened.

If it's not on vehicle condition report then it should be disregarded.

Perhaps nowhere near as good as your original leaf deal but the cheapest EV lease appears to be the Kia Soul EV.
6+35 x £230 on 10k/pa with Drive Electric

When my Q7 was VT’d it was inspected at collection by the collection company and paperwork received but then was inspected again 2weeks later as it was presented to auction by staff of the finance house - I was warned this may throw up additional costs, it didn’t as it happens but it was a risk and I would have argued the case since it was inspected at the other end of the country and had been out of my control for those 2weeks etc...

Thanks. Will have a look. Skoda coming in at a great price even for 15k miles a year.

Similar for me - I was paying ~£261 for 15k per year and have accepted £209 for another year to take me to a total of £45k. Will be interesting to see what the “buy it” price looks like at the end of the lease next year - 3 years old and 45k can’t be worth that much.

My business partner had his Xj collected a couple of weeks ago with paper work handed to him to confirm proof of service was present, Now we’ve had a bill emailed yesterday with a £250 charge for no service history. This was also through lex.
