Best Lease Car Deals Available? (Vol 8)

This is my first time ordering a lease car on a factory order from a broker.
The car is due in March. Is the following normal:
'Next step is waiting for the finance documents which come across from the dealer. These are produced once they have the chassis number and vehicle registration so this will be nearer to the delivery, as soon as I receive these I will forward these onto you.'
I am used to seeing all the paperwork up front.
Yes, it's standard. You will get docs when car is there and ready to be processed and sent to you or ready for collection. The car is due in March. Is the following normal:

new to the forum - thanks to this thread I ordered a cupra 290 mag grey via zenauto on Monday. However after coming across a couple of forums with customers experiencing delays of up to 6 months I am slightly conerned as my current lease car is due back 25th Feb. A lead time of 12 weeks was providing which is perfect but by the sounds of it I highly doubt that is accurate.
Who said 12 weeks?I was told 14 weeks minimum and pretty sure on the website it said the same aswell.
Going by the cupra forum can't see how they can get one over in 12 weeks.

I also read and it was confirmed approximately 14 weeks, zen site also says you can defer delivery for an extra 45 days max from when you are allocated a date. Forums are saying that it’s the st and cars with pan roof option that are experiencing the major delays. Shipments of Cupras are finally coming over but not necessarily in the number they were ordered. Not sure if all models are built in the same factory but you’d think Seat would have sorted their demand/supply chain by now.
Sorry my mistake, I'm sure it said 12-14 somewhere and when I spoke to Chris from Zen he also said the same. I noticed the same thing - looks like the st and pan roofs have much longer delays. I hope they have things sorted as a lot of orders on the cupra have been made this week aloneajguk said:
Yes I initially was thinking the blond sounded great but I don't think it suits the car (this may also apply for my Mrs....). Plus we've got a puppy so went for charcoal black!
I would really go for Amber and Onyx Black (what I thought I was going for) or Saville Grey, but couldn't get on board with the basically white colour leather.Throw a toddler into the mix and the darker option sounds even more preferable.
What have you heard about delivery dates? My dealer seems to say end of Nov and they aren't fussed about waiting for min. 14 days to deliver.

Been some cracking deal recently - the best lease deals world is alive and kumquating!!
Definitely! Is it just me or has there been a slight shift recently in terms of "in stock" cars having better deals vs factory orders?
I'm sure previously it was the other way around...

Silver wasn't my first choice, in fact Denim Blue was but that was only the light interior, and I've got that in my Z4 which is hard enough to keep clean. Black will make a change anyway.Throw a toddler into the mix and the darker option sounds even more preferable.

I've been told 3-4 weeks. She did mention they had to wait until after the 14 day cooling off period to me though. Did you use RGW by any chance? They quoted me end of November (well, one of their sales guys did) but I missed their quote when it came to my inbox and I went with vehiclesavers instead. They were slightly cheaper over the term despite the larger fee.
Maybe I should phone up and beg for earlier delivery? Or is this a legal thing?

Was indeed RGW, as the numbers fell for me it was actually about 3 quid a month more with them for the metallic, but then I'd be forfeiting my admin fee to cancel at that point, so I went ahead.I've been told 3-4 weeks. VehicleSavers said they definitely adhere to 14 days before they'll deliver, as did Selectcarleasing who I spoke to, and said it was a condition of the lender. But RGW said they are happy to deliver ASAP. I have a feeling it's because they have a large cancellation fee which goes on top of the admin fee, should I decide to back out once the car is ordered, 1500 + VAT. So they love it if you take delivery then cancel.
I'm still not clear on the situation with where liability stands if you do decide to quit in the 14 days but the car is already delivered. Lux autoleasing, the lenders, said that the 14 days cooling is on the finance, not the car, so if I cancel within 14 days then anything to do with the car is between me and the dealer to sort out, and the finance is considered cancelled. She wouldn't say any more.
RGW originally said car must be delivered before end of Nov, but VehicleSavers said different, and that that's for Registration. When I challenged RGW on that he said well delivery will be imminently after registration, maybe first week December.
