Seems pricey I’m in a 5008 and did 3 + 23 on a GT Line auto at £223 8k miles
That was a great deal - I'm gutted it was too soon for me to bag one - really I wanted a 7 seater auto, but nothing cheap around at the moment.

Have had a quote on a Tiguan SE Nav (1.4 TSI 150 4motion DSG) on a 3 + 23 @ £242.20 which seems pretty good (£300 fee is the only thing) -£275 amortised or approx 22% but based on full list price. Not quite as good as the most recent deals but not bad considering it’s the 4x4.

Think I’d rather try to get the 2 litre diesel for that sort of money.

Yes Jon and you pounced on that deal at the right time, it wasn't on for long (a few days) - was the engine the 1.6 diesel ?

Have you seen an SE Nav with DSG and 4motion for that sort of money then?

That's an amazing deal congrats. I'll be miles off that - brutal. When do prices tend to change? Beginning of quarter?

Really need some advice please. I can get an a200d auto from work, 15k miles,12 months, £415 per month with insurance and service included. It's a nice car, but a real chunk of money. Any good automatics around at the moment for a better price than this?

Wouldn’t touch that Merc at such a high price. Service and insurance for a year really aren’t a lot of cash so the car cost seems very high.

Really depends on what type of car you want but have a read over the last 10 pages of this thread to get an idea of deals about currently.

Thanks. Honestly just want to an automatic that isn't too small (I'm tall).

See a few posts up - the v90/s90s are huge and cheap for what they are, or look for the S60 leases - the really cheap ones are manual but you can get an auto for not a lot more.

Yeah I dropped on to be fair, perfect timing for me as had a 3rd child coming in the December as it happens it got delivered a day after he was born so picked him up in it!

Yes 1.6 diesel, very slow but didn’t get it for speed! Really nice car though the tech is fantastic

Having had a few lease cars now I’ve always found July and October a good time, especially with VAG group stuff, the 5008 was a one off I think as they had stock cars pre launch, doubt they will be that cheap again

Just the manual. Thinking of fuel efficiency. If you need an auto then you will be looking at more.

Is that a salary sacrifice scheme, so tax free?

How much do you pay for insurance?

Theres no tax free company cars, use it personally and you get taxed one way or another.

It's done through salary sacrifice but not tax free. Not sure exactly what my insurance would be as I've had something through work for the last while - maybe £500ish?

With some schemes the employee technically owns the car (ECO - employee car ownership) so there’s no tax. It’s a bit dodgy and it’s been said for years that HMRC was going to crack down on them but so far they haven't.

My last salary sacrifice car cost nearly 2x what it would on a lease after factoring in insurance and servicing. Then I had to pay benefit in kind on top of that! I soon realised it was not a benefit at all and Zenith were raking it in! (Gross cost charged by Zenith was 650 p/m on a Nissan qashqai tekna!)

Oh my naivety

Wouldn't recomend the A class if you're tall. Small cabin. Mates 6ft and finds it uncomfortable.

Its like the NHS scheme, but theres still a P11D and benefit in kind attached. NI free yes but not tax free.
