I have just spoken to VW direct who say that the deal is not correct or available. I have leased from the same dealer before so there is no reason to think it's not true. If anyone has a firm contact that can do the deal I would appreciate a link either by pm or on here.
Regards Craig

Hearing rumours this morning that someone's ballsed up on the Passat deal and it should never have been advertised at that price. Be interesting to see how this goes
I can categorically say that's utter tripe. I've been talking to my local dealer for a while this morning and the deal is on both of their internal (but separate) finance systems. It exists.
Yes apologies, deleted after I posted. Two brokers I spoke to this morning told me the deal has been pulled, but I've now spoken to a dealer who say they can do it cool
Hmm, actually the guy from lightcliffe has rung me back to say there now may be an issue with it.

Who did you speak to?

Soon as i saw these deals i jumped onto Nationwide and had a look. Yeah deffo a balls up as the price has now shot up from £150 pm to over £500 inc VAT. Was nearly ready to cancel my A4 order and get one of them aswell! Now i know the Audi deals are cheap but if these VW ones were true they would have been mega ridiculous.

After a lot of searching around found a deal for a 520d m sport auto:

Monthly 268
Deposit: 2418
Admin fee 180
10k miles
Metallic paint

What you think guys?
Good price for 10k miles. I'm paying £10/mth less (amortised) for 8k miles, and I considered mine a good deal. Who's it with?

I just had a reply from Central saying its 8 - 10 weeks, but they want to get the finance approved first, I wonder if its just a case of getting me signed up?

The 2.0TDI 190 is still showing at £119.99 for me. Tempted to stick in an application and see what happens. Would make a decent addition to the Golf R.

I added winter pack for £10.96 extra, fingers crossed the deals are "real" best deal for years!

I don't know why I'm tempted by the 190 DSG deal. I don't need it...

If only I could find a Polo GTI cheap !

Local dealer just ran a quote for me which came up as £400odd +vat a month. Lets see if I can get the NVS processed beyond the proposal approval..

Then see if I can add park assist and metallic paint - not going to break the deal if I can't...

I'll be mega pissed off if NVS don't do the deal.

I've been accepted and they have sent the figures etc.
Suppose the old saying is still used for a reason..

Do it! AS someone said on here they may still honor the ones advertised. Tbh i'm kinda glad they were taken off. As good a deal as it is/was i do less than 10k PA and do mostly stop/start journeys so the DPF wouldn't last 5 mins. Just wished they did the A4 with the 1.4 in an auto and it would be perfect; even at a slightly dearer cost.

Hey ho. Good luck with it. Let us know how you get on.

Just put in an application with NVS. What a mad amount of car for the money. Fingers crossed.

Really? Who is that? Based on 10,000 miles? If so he may have a sale.

Give it a go. If you can get away with it and they have to honor the initial advertised price you're getting one hell of a deal! Worst comes to the worst they say they can't do it and just let it go. You never know these may crop up cheap like the A4 deals at some point. I've got a feeling VW may have done all this on purpose to test the water.

Exactly. It might make sense if they were trying to shift stock this quarter but the deals I've seen say "factory order".

It clearly makes no sense to specifically build cars that you have to almost give away, and especially high spec ones like 4Motion DSGs.
