Soon as i saw these deals i jumped onto Nationwide and had a look. Yeah deffo a balls up as the price has now shot up from £150 pm to over £500 inc VAT. Was nearly ready to cancel my A4 order and get one of them aswell! Now i know the Audi deals are cheap but if these VW ones were true they would have been mega ridiculous.

Shame frown
The 2.0TDI 190 is still showing at £119.99 for me. Tempted to stick in an application and see what happens. Would make a decent addition to the Golf R.
Do it! AS someone said on here they may still honor the ones advertised. Tbh i'm kinda glad they were taken off. As good a deal as it is/was i do less than 10k PA and do mostly stop/start journeys so the DPF wouldn't last 5 mins. Just wished they did the A4 with the 1.4 in an auto and it would be perfect; even at a slightly dearer cost.

Hey ho. Good luck with it. Let us know how you get on.
Just put in an application with NVS. What a mad amount of car for the money. Fingers crossed.
Good stuff! Hope it goes through mate biggrin

When I was talking to NVS last night, she seemed very confident about it all and I even asked about a discount for more than one (I can have 2 for less than its costs for my misses' Qashqai) and she said I would need to order atleast 25 haha.

I have just put in a form with NVS. Seems a no brainer (even though I was going for a test drive in a Golf R on friday.

Not seen any decent deals on MB thus far or will there be some later this month?
I'm hoping there will be some cracking deals sooner rather than later, I'm a bit short of target this month laugh

We've got a couple of deals on C200SE petrol saloon at sub £190 a month + VAT which isn't a storming deal compared to the Audi or Passat. I'm surprised BMW haven't come out with anything as they've lost a load of ground on MB and Audi so far this year

OK, I can now fill you in on what's going on here having just been speaking to a VW dealer at length.

The deal is NOT available via brokers for factory order cars as they will not be built and delivered in time. The deal is for delivered cars by 31st March. This means it is only available on those cars that are already at UK Port. I've been through the list with them and there are a few choices, but because of all the factory-fitted options, they start at around £180 (for manuals) up to £288 (DSG habanero plus loads of toys) - all on 3+23, 5K.

There are lots of night blue with lane assist, led lights, electric tailgate and so on, but they come to £260 per month. They're available in black and silver too. There's a white DSG one with 19" alloys and vienna leather upgrade which is £197 per month.

There are a few manuals in blue, black and silver which have advanced phone upgrade and LED lights, coming to £200-ish per month.

If you wanna speak to the people that know, call Jodie at VW Kettering on 01604 321 608 and she'll be happy to help :-)

Everytime I see people lease a car from a dealer direct they always mention how there are no fees because you are going direct.

I've recently ordered a Scirroco R direct with a VW dealer on a lease which came with a £250 fee - is this normal? Even taking the fee into account they were cheaper than the lease companies I enquired with so I didn't think much of it at the time.

Well, I ordered a plain Jane basic one from a VW dealer this morning, so potentially I am expecting to be disappointed.

For the second time.

I was one of the people who got screwed over on the original Golf R deals which IIRC was the time this thread and the general interest in lease deals started.

Oh well, if it seems too good to be true.....

For the 190 DSG model I have got it down to £136.93 with the deposit at £359.97. More expensive than NVS but with a local dealer. Anyone bettered this?

I'm trying to get through to NVS on the phone.

3+23 on 12,000 miles 2ltr 190PS DSG comes to £167 per month.

My questions -

Is it actually available?
Have they got any with the App Connect? (would really like Apple Play)
Have they got one with upgraded stereo (dynaudio?)

Can you buy servicing packs with this???

Will post back once I have heard from a agent.

Sounds to me like they are just trying to push stock cars. As I'm guessing more ££ in it for them as cars are built and ready to go ?

No, can you share which dealer you got that from?

I'd suggest to your dealer that they speak to the deal manager at head office then and get the correct information ;-)

Yup. I got £135. But it's pointless as the car doesn't exist and cannot be bought. The system will reject it. The deal is for cars built and delivered by the 31st March only. With a 12 week lead time, how are you going to get a factory order delivered by March 31st?

I spoke to a dealer who said it was for cars which were in stock and had to be delivered by the end of the month.
He had 3 190BHP DSG's with various extras.
Cheapest one was £176.53 + VAT , 10K miles, 6 +23
or
£214.52 + VAT, 10K miles, 6 + 35

He said prices are being reviewed by VW today as potentially they are incorrect but said that all orders would be honoured if placed before that time.

Spoken to my broker and there will be a deal on the Passat just not as good as advertised

Apparently the residuals were loaded incorrectly to the system

Why are people ringing vw dealers, who are in direct competition to these lease companies, then surprised when the dealer tells them it's not legit and offers them something else. Vested interest???
