You would think they could have hung the doors the right way round after all the aggro you have had.

Looks fantastic though, I am not a teeny weeny bit envious at all smile

Well today Rolls Royce presented me with my new car, I’m ecstatic and they went above and beyond not only upgrading the car but also arranging a VIP handover at Goodwood, A massive thank you to everyone for your help, advice and support, hopefully some of the advice I have been given may help someone else in the future.
Gorgeous!

Congrats and gorgeous colour combo. Makes
You wonder if the old car will get sold on with repairs made to the interior to some unsuspecting buyer.

Stumbled across this thread this evening and just read whole thing beginning to end. Excellent outcome just a shame the hassle the OP had to go through to get there!

Well done, though I would ask if they could swap the wheels.

Agreed, the car looks absolutely incredible but the wheels are a bit too 'Producer Michael'.

Any apology? Yes

Was the dealer present?
yes and they took an active part in sourcing the car, I was offered a refund but wanted to stay within the brand, my complaints were not buyer remorse, and although it was a slog when the right people got involved things moved very quickly, on the good advice of PHrs who are a fantastic and supportive community (mostly, wheels rolleyes ) lol!!!

I hadn't seen this until last night but read the lot anticipating a positive outcome, I was so pleased to get to point where things were resolved and have had my eyes opened about the mileage blocked.

Things have moved on a lot from undoing a speedo cable.

This must now be a huge weight off your mind.

Was your original one a black badge. If not that’s a fairly serious upgrade!

Congratulations for following through and glad you got the right outcome and the car looks stunning

Good questions - in what ways was the replacement an upgrade on the original car?
