Thanks, I had a bit of a look back through the thread but couldn't see who the dealer was or what the exact deal ended up being.
No big issue with ordering it through a broker, just would prefer to order it through a dealer so that I had direct contact with the dealer. So far, two of the dealers haven't returned my call, one of them has but was £70 per month more. Just waiting for one more to come back to me, but not holding my breath.
I had been dealing with the local Audi who were very quick at getting back to me and certainly close enough for me on price the other week, so worth a call or email to Clare.

If its any help I had a 2012 S4 and used it for business, mainly motorway miles. No trouble achieving average 30mpg and it was pre start / stop technology. On a run at 70ish mph I was getting 33/34
Thanks!

The excess mileage is 15ppm, but the 15k quote with 5k excess mileage comes to £465 p/m, so even less than the A4 allroad!

So tempted to change....

Quick update if anyone was wondering... after a mix up, i've been given a final figure of £373 per month on the S5 coupe... up front payment of £3,357, plus £180 admin fee. This is for 10k miles, with the virtual cockpit and flat bottom wheel...

Anybody with a bit of experience in leasing, or who's taken up an S5 offer, tell me if this is as good as i'm likely to get?

Thanks in advance (again!)...

My formula for calculating deals on 8-10k miles is that 20% cost of the car over 2y is very good and 25% isnt too shabby
There are of course multiple variables - list price versus discounted being the biggie

Cheers

I see things have gone a little quiet on the Cupra 290! Are there any decent deals left?

Also looking for a Jaguar XE R-Sport but including maintenance I'm looking at £375+ on a 3+35 deal, which seems pricey for a 2.0d. Anyone aware of anything special out there?

Thanks in advance! smile

Thinking about: Mercedes CLA 220d Sport Tip Auto (map pilot)(shooting brake) £249/month for a year. Business lease.

Sound good?
Mileage?
Initial payment?
10,000 miles. Don't think there's an initial payment. Will have an answer tomorrow.
Any update on this?

Cupra deals are over, no more orders are being taken at all on the car until the face lift arrives.

It's cheaper than any deal I can currently see.

Looks like it's a bit cheaper than Fleet Sauce are advertising and they were the cheapest on the coupe.

Got that deal from Fleetsauce... was actually £373 less than that as i'd calculated 9+24 instead of 9+23...

I agree
Which is why I stated 8-10k as a parameter

Thought I would run the figures to see what sort of percentage this deal is coming out as.

S5 Coupe + virtual cockpit + flat bottom steering wheel
List Price: £47,350
Anticipated Discount: £4,637 (orange wheels)
Total lease cost: £12,116

% of list price: 25.6%
% of discounted price: 28.4%

I've just had my deal propped on an A4 Allroad Sport 3.0TDI 272 Tiptronic...but now that it's come to sign the order form I'm having a wobble!

Looking at the Fleetsauce S5 deal again, seems they've changed it on their webpage again: 6+23, 10k P/A = £372 p/m plus £2300 down up front.

I do 20,000 miles per year, so the excess mileage works out to £110 per month, so my total monthly would be £480, exc any options.

The A4 allroad is £1400 down and £477 per month, so aside from the upfront difference the monthly is similar. I'd love the S5, but real world mpg could be a killer...looking around it seems S5s have an average MPG of under 25mpg, and over 20,000 miles PA that's going to hurt in terms of fuel costs!

The A4 is still lightning fast for a diesel (0-62 in 5.5 seconds and has bags of torque, it just won't be fun to drive or have that exhaust note!).

Aaargh decisions....what would you do?
What deal did you get on the Allroad?

With my completely arbitrary formula I'd say it's an OK deal, adding options to a lease often lessons the vfm as most assume zero residual over the length of the lease so their cost is just added on, at a guess the virtual cockpit sounds expensive!

If you need further ammunition to justify it then the Audi website will almost certainly reveal how much a PCP will cost in total over the same term - for my BMW it was very significantly more even with a 25% discount at a broker for 2y of motoring

Cheers, I'm no expert but the above helped me justify my own deal

Go green leasing have this - a decent deal - 3+23 20k pa

If you do high mileage and claim mileage at company car allowance rates. the anything over 2L and petrol is 20ppm.

If you get 36mpg on this, which should be completely feasible (unless your 20k pa commute includes the scottish/welsh mountain roads) you're making 1k per year on the fuel allowance alone to chuck in to the pot.
