Q: What do you call a musician who can’t fit his instrument in his barge?

A: Ian.

Realise I've not posted any meaningful pictures of the GL yet but I'm hoping to get chance at some point!
Really enjoying life with it up to now; if it doesn't have a catostrophic failure to proceed in my ownership it'll have been an excellent purchase.
It's great to drive - like a magic carpet.
Economy is as expected, pretty poor. High 20's likely on a long run. But managed 31 driving it home from collection.
Did a Costco trip whilst in Glasgow last weekend for the mrs and it just swallows however much you buy and still have plenty of space for more.

My dad bought my sisters Fabia estate for my Christmas as I'd sold the C215 rather unexpectedly so was left without a car.
That's now on eBay but a lad from work viewed it tonight and I think he'll likely buy it.
And the Northern Irish XJR is currently on a 3 day auction, too.
Decided to give it one go on there and let God decide its fate.

Not had much chance to keep up with thread unfortunately, it seems to move quicker by the week!

I haven't got a musical note in me, but it seems musicians and barges are everywhere today:

Has waftycranker deleted his post, or is it missing from my view confused

I never delete my posts old chap.

I stand by the bull sh!t I post.
I’ve noticed I occasionally have this problem on Pistonheads too, where posts are suddenly quoted by others and I can’t see the original anywhere. Very strange.

All of this is highly familiar! Especially "Take the case along when viewing" stuff.

I have resorted at times to keyboard cases across the rear seat. Sometimes I wonder if I could manage with a saloon. Problem is with those lovely reliable Japanese ones, the seats never fold down.

I really hope things look up for you with your nerve issue, and that it subsides.

It's been a rough couple of years for us musos. Let's hope better times are ahead.
Thanks... Just got onto the waiting list for physio now that I have a semi definitive diagnosis. Annoyingly, this started just as the band started getting post-covid gigs in. Let's hope things carry on improving and we can all get back to live music.

I agree on saloons (and coupes)... I'd love something less estatey, but would need folding seats, which annoyingly are never mentioned even though it's clearly really important!

That said, I have got to gigs in my other half's Z3 when my car's been out of action... Baritone stood up along the passenger seat, boot and foot well full of other bits and clothes! I do have an irrational desire for an rx-8 as well...

This took me way longer than it should have... Got there in the end, thanks for the chuckle!

Is this the point where you discovered that PH has subjected you* to the poorly-known 'ignore' feature? tongue out

*Yeah, yeah, there's loads of us it applies to!

Happens to mine too, I don't understand it.

It seems that often other people can still see your original post but you can't.

Sadly these days it's less 'has she got a sister' and more 'show us a pic of her mum'!
Or mum’s sister even…

It's getting to the point where the question is "Does she know any living females"

Topping up with V-Power today. Bruising.

A spread of 16p between regular unleaded and super seems excessive even in these very strange times.

I shouldn't, but I like all three and get most excited when I see the Laguna Coupe with the lovely twin exhausts. There are a couple that I saw in France where they are more numerous.

The 407 coupe can't hold a candle to the 406.
The front end on the 407 is just awful.

The 407 is to the 406 what the C216 is to the 215.

Is it encouraging when every other picture at the start is about the AA?
