With a budget of £250 a month over 2 yrs, are there any A Class options open to me? Would prefer most powerful petrol or diesel available, manual gearbox and smallest wheels!
There are some options open to you, best to send me a message anonymous said:

Well it could go one way or the other as the SLC250d is being discontinued shortly. So it could be highly sought after, or it could go as you suggest! But as I said, used car cheaper than new shock More leasing promotions in 4th quarter after September new reg sales dies down?
"British new car sales fell for the fifth month in a row in August, the longest run of declines since 2011, a car industry body said on Tuesday, as uncertainty over Brexit and possible levies on diesel cars hit Europe’s second-biggest market.
Sales fell by an annual 6.4 percent to 76,433 vehicles, according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), with demand among businesses and individuals both slumping.
Diesel car registrations fell by 21.3 percent, whilst petrol sales rose 3.8 percent in a further sign that uncertainty over possible government-imposed penalties on the most polluting vehicles is putting off buyers."

Government has made a right clusterf*ck of the new-car market. Silly tax rises and diesel hounding right in the middle of Brexit uncertainty. Industry is boiling. Know someone at a midrange dealer, and he reckons it's shaping up this year to be even worse than the 2008-9 recession. As you say, it could bring some epic lease deals if the industry gets desperate."British new car sales fell for the fifth month in a row in August, the longest run of declines since 2011, a car industry body said on Tuesday, as uncertainty over Brexit and possible levies on diesel cars hit Europe’s second-biggest market.

I'm not so sure, I've heard a few of the UK manufacturers have gone back to head office and have had a target reduction. Which is best, make a loss and shift metal cheap or potentially lose some market share? Other markets around the world are still healthy and expanding, so UK build slots can be absorbed globallyAnyone found better than this for a Golf GTD?

Just been offered an Audi Q3 TDI Quattro Black Edition on 6+35 @ £297 by local Audi dealer. That's around 32% of list on a 3 year deal?
My wife loves her Q3 and doesn't seem to care that A4 Avants are better value, this is the first semblance of a decent deal I've seen on the Q3.
Not seen the Q3 2.0 TFSI S Tronic, Black edition deals then? My wife loves her Q3 and doesn't seem to care that A4 Avants are better value, this is the first semblance of a decent deal I've seen on the Q3.
Here's an example: £2,400 initial followed by £239 per month inc. VAT on a 24 month deal. Total cost: £7,918

Sometimes it can be hard to distinguish one model from the next with Audi, but I imagine the Q2 gives some hints to the next Q3. In which case the difference will be obvious :/

Oh dear thats bad news re the GTD. I got mine new in March and have been delighted with it - much more refined that the BMW 120D X Drive that preceded it. Nearing 13,000 miles it has gotten smoother and more economical with use and as an estate I am delighted with its versatility. Make sure the car is not set in Sport mode too.

Second this. As a MK7 GTD owner the engine is horrendous. Has decent pull but sounds like a tractor. Also get a lot A3 drivers that tailgate you for some reason. I would go for the GTE, there are some decent deals going round e.g

Glad others agree, I've heard a few people say the same as well. I think they're actually reasonably brisk if you thrash them, but they just don't feel it because they don't give the kick in the back when coming on boost like the old PD engines did. Give me an old PD 130 any day. https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/main-dealer...
The GTE does seem a more interesting proposition on lease, although the reviews all say they really suffer for the extra weight, which makes them circa 1600kg with the hybrid gobbins.
Hi guys, typical long time lurker here!
Been in the motor trade for 12 years, until very recently decided on a different career path. Having to run my own cars now, instead of just using one off the forecourt!
I've currently got a Renault Zoe on a crazily good PCP deal (£114 a month including battery rental), and a Volvo V40.
My Zoe goes back shortly, and I'm looking for something to replace it. Not overly picky on brand, it just needs to be £150 a month or less, and not have a huge up front payment. Any recommendations?
