Was browsing decent sized diesels, is this any good? Not really looking but interested in what I could do if so desired

Hi all, in need of a new motor sharpish and just been offered this deal. At first glance looked pretty good, unless you can advise me otherwise

Seemed pretty good for me, especially as no up front payment or deposit, what do you reckon?

The Golf GTD at £213.99 with a deposit is cheaper, excess mileage is 7p inc VAT. They have cars for January delivery.BMW 116d M Sport 5dr

I am going to sell my old but ever trustworthy Cayenne early in the New Year & get myself into one of these lease deals, the Volvo XC60 or BMW 4CC looking favourite at the moment.
What the collective’s thoughts on getting the best deal? Do I factory order in December with a Feb/Mar delivery and assume that I will offload the Cayenne if I price it cheaply, or would your crystal ball predict that if I wait until February & after I have sold I would get a better deal on a stock car, if I was not too fussy on what I took

In my experience there aren't that many stock cars, the good deals are often factory order with a 3 month lead time. What the collective’s thoughts on getting the best deal? The only advice I would offer is, if you want a real bargain you can't be too choosy as to make/model/spec, the more open you are to alternatives the more likely you are to get a good deal.

Exactly this. The way to treat leasing is also to jump if you see a great deal as they are very transient. So you can't really plan ahead for when is a good time to go for it. I was lucky last year to get on the December M135i lease deal for a March delivery and only the Golf R deals afterwards have really come anywhere near it for VFM.
Anyone seen a cheap lease on something like a Focus or similar, like this, maybe better? Doesnt have to be sporty etc....for the wife.
