Morning all. So my Golf GTi is due to go back in the next 3 months (got an informal extension on it) and I'm pretty sure it's going to need some new tyres. Does anyone know what the score is regarding this, as in would VWFS expect me to put a like for like replacement on, or can I get away with putting on anything that's new? Thanks
I was in the same position. VWFS said either the same tyre or any equivalent premium brand, meaning I couldn't fit a pair of £40 Di-Yung Skidmaster 3000s. I just replaced like for like. Michelin
Pirelli
Goodyear
Dunlop
Yokohama??
Toyo??
VWFS Extensions fall into these brackets
Informal Extension - Upto 3 months at the same monthly rate. Mileage pro rata.
Informal Extension - Upto 6 months on the provision that you have another VWFS car on order. Same Monthlies/mileage pro rata
Formal Extension - 6/12 month deals. Price lottery as to whether it goes up or down. 2/4 weeks to accept the price when offered.

But as I have found they may not offer an extension at all. Looks like I will be at 38k when my 2 yrs is up (v 20k lease). They have refused to extend. Informal Extension - Upto 3 months at the same monthly rate. Mileage pro rata.

Well surprise surprise they didn’t call me but the car has gone up £190 a month overnight to £714 so it was obviously an error or click bait.Even their own website has less mileage at higher prices.

Hello everyone,
New here and looking to lease my first car.
Was after an A5 S line with a tech pac for 2 years. Anyone seen anything?
Would love a sport back S line but can't seem to find a lease deal on any.
I do like 10k miles a year.
Thanks!
Leasing.com, Cars2Buy, LeaseLoco are the good places to start and see what's out there.New here and looking to lease my first car.

The best deals crop up if you're not precious about model, trim or spec.

Thats got to be a pricing error surely?! My Cupra is due back in May also and I was looking to change to an A250/A35 but if those prices ae legit then I could be tempted to order another Cupra for 2 years.
The lead times put me off though. Seat dealer told me on Friday to expect at least 4 months across the whole range (was looking at an Ateca for the wife) and more like 6 months for a Cupra. Whilst that works for me, they obviously have the new model launching next year so I could see them discontinuing at some point and wonder if they would still honour all the factory orders. Merc have just discontinued the A220 and from my brief understanding, it means all the orders now need to move up or down the range.
I ordered my A250 in July and still haven't got it so u less you get it from stock, you'll be looking at the same lead time. The lead times put me off though. I called them and they have come up with nothing, said they would send a quote but haven’t and could they supply colours but heard nothing so I don’t think they have cars. I want them too as if I could get it at this price I would cancel my T5 order I placed on Saturday but I don’t think they can do them at this price.
Even their own website has less mileage at higher prices.
The prices are probably from a few 19 model year stock cars that were around, I know of a couple hidden at dealers but they have options. Even their own website has less mileage at higher prices.
The other thing with Volvos along with a few other manufacturers is the prices can change depending if you are SME, opt out driver or private.
First time poster...
Looking at an XC90 to replace my Discovery 4.
Local Volvo dealer has come back with:
XC90 R Design Pro B5
Onyx black
Blond leather
Tow bar
Maintenance pack
4th year warranty
10000 miles
48 months
690 per month with 1 month down
Thoughts?
They’ve offered me a better price than I’d expected for the Disco as well... though that is earmarked for house renovations, hence the lower first payment.

I've Lanced The Boil on a wacky C5 Aircross thing. Not my usual fodder but the deal was stupidly cheap so a good opportunity to change the family bus and sample what the French have been smoking recently. 1+23, £248pcm, 10k, List is £32k which is...funny.
I'm fascinated to see if the wild array of tech works on delivery!

I don’t think that’s bad if it was 2 years but being tied to that for 4 years only you can answer.Looking at an XC90 to replace my Discovery 4.

I ordered an inscription on Saturday for 2 years for £599 but not a pro or with the other bits so I think price is good though but I wouldn’t commit to four years but you might be ok with that.
