Same here from my local Skoda dealer, ordered the manual estate at 1 x 23 £220pm, 10,000 miles, inc. met paint. Hatchback was £219pm.
I used a Skoda dealer as well, not had a build date yet but told not to expect it for 4 to 5 weeks from ordering. I needed Auto hence why its a bit more, only option I had was heated seats. Colour choice is a little limited with Skoda, ended up with a rather boring Metallic Black but felt is was fairly safe, what did you get? Never had a car this size, it does seem massive, must be the same size as an E Class or 5 series, parking should be fun.Casa1862 said:

The Sportline does look good, quite a bit extra when I asked as only the SE Technology being pushed. How are you finding the size and general feel of it?
Next to my old C220, you can see it's bigger, and certainly inside passenger space and boot space is greater, but in terms of driving, feels very similar.I did look at the SE Tech but it needed the bodykit/alloys on it for me to choose the Skoda over anything else. Wasn't set on any makes in particular but needed to be a good size (Golf out, shame) and have some gadgets.
Merc E Class Estate and new 5 series Touring would have been right up there if they were available, but they're not until next year and I needed something before Christmas! (this standard one was available within 3/4 weeks).

My friend has a Superb and it's about the same size as my E Class. 95% of parking spaces are fine, some multi storey car parks can be a pain thoughFast Bug said:

Spoke to the dealer yesterday he said this will change and last week I was due in March so going to leave it thank you David...
The other car I was interested in was S3 Sportback but that is 6 months too so I am no better off
Deal I got was £1700 down and £280 a month on 8k for the R line
Are those figures excluding vat on the R Line M3sye? Which engine/gearbox? The other car I was interested in was S3 Sportback but that is 6 months too so I am no better off

I like the look of the R-Line Tiguan and quite fancy one for my next lease if there's any decent deals around, like you I am also interested in the S3..

Don't forget anyone wanting a new XC60 - we have an offer on for PH users, follow the below link and Quote #XC60 when you send an enquiry in and the Sales Team will look after you from there.
You'll see on the below link, we ordered a number of them for staff cars on personal leases as the offer we have is pretty good (not to blow smoke up our own backsides)

£10.5k for three years in a semi-prestige, semi-large SUV... that's a decent deal. You'd pay the same for a Nissan X-Trail for example.
Thanks CYMR0, these are really good at the moment, if you follow the link you'll see we took a batch of them ourselves as they are great cars! SelectCarLeasing said:
Genuine great value deal from Wessex. Amazing value especially when compared to lesser brand SUV's.
OK OK I stand corrected. I thought it was a bit much for an unremarkable SUV, but it seems the general view is that I am wrong! Edited by wibblebrain on Wednesday 14th December 17:36

I'd recommend Skoda to anyone having had several now, I find it odd that some people seem stuck in the 80/90's with regard to the Skoda reputation!

Not a very educational year, or just a fantastic phrase!!!
Got a call from my current lease company regarding March when my lease expires.
I said probably a Golf R and would look at figures for a good price.
On my notes i have August £7300 all in for 5 door DSG and the best ever price was £6300 for the Estate version over two years? Those prices were from this thread.
Got a Fiesta ST at the moment and looking at something quick and pref 5 door. ST costing me £190 a month but can probably go upto £300 a month.
I asked the bloke about wear and tear because two of the alloys are kerbed. They sent me the BVRLA guide but the two alloys need 100% refurb round the edges.
Guy said if i leave it, the finance will take it away and can charge what they want and i wont be able to say i will sort it myself. He suggested i sort them myself.
I thought someone inspected it a week before collection to give you chance to sort issues out, i presume now thats not correct?
The owner of the car is i think the company is Leaseplan UK Limited.
On the invoices it says Network 165 a Leaseplan brand. So presume its Leaseplan UK Limited picking it up. Any ideas on cost for two alloy refurbs?
Their website just says there will be a charge, no mention of numbers.

Please bear in mind Wessex and ourselves both have our thread's at the top of this particular buyers forum to update deals and answer questions too. Please feel free to use them also.
Time to say goodnight, it would appear I have revision to do.
