I sold my B9 19 plate RS4 to WBAC recently, I turned up expecting them to turn me over. It was a pop up in Matalan car park and the fella wasn't wearing any form of uniform to say the least.

We had a chat and and he was quite interesting.

I paid them £38, they took the car and the mega finance of 55k plus and I walked to the station to get a taxi home.

Painless, 30 mins and I was frankly astonished at the valuation and after a tiny bit of dancing agreed price and no hassle with finance company etc.
Same.

One "[i]cash[/o]" sale three years ago and one settling of finance and paying me the remainder.

Both £20K cars and in excellent condition.

Both painless and what they offered was within touching distance of what was on the website.

The most painless selling experience I've ever had though I guess YMMV.

Ford have an offer on at the moment that is guaranteed £100 more than WBAC, worth hunting down online for the details.
Unfortunately, that offer is not Ford themselves, but Trust-Ford. So is only applicable at Trust-Ford dealers.

A dealership I use told me they had 8 used cars in-stock this morning, normally it would be 40-50 with access to 1000+ from group stock. Non franchise stock is generally traded out to the auctions but not in 2021, it goes on the forecourt and is selling.

Used stock is hard to find.

I've put umpteen cars into WBAC any never had more than 3-4 emails each time. No phone calls, although I may get the number wrong, silly me.

Given the amount of spam my what must be a 20 year old email address gets it's not really a problem.
I put my car in about six months ago and they e-mail me about twice a month. Sure I could unsubscribe but never got round to it.
You must have something they want more than what I priced smile

WBAC prices for late cars may be generous just now as they need some stock for their "Cinch" operation that is also part of the BCA group!

Just valued my AMG E43 Estate on WBAC for sts and giggles. Comes in about £1500 less than I paid for it 16 months ago and 8000 miles later. Not bad depreciation. Not selling because I have no idea what I would replace it with for the £35k they’ll give me.

This won’t last forever though, corrections on the way.

I was having the same issue using Safari. Switched browser over to chrome and it worked first time.

No it obviously won't last forever but most experts predict it will last at least until next summer 2022 with substantial price rises yet to come.

Haha they can offer what they like as can anyone doesn't mean the car is valued at that or its the best price on the car. Standard business practice if they can get away with it!

Well seems as its such a wait for a factory build, i have managed to find a dealer with a 21 plate "Pre Reg" in very nice spec:
Twisted Orange
Custom Pack 2
Rear Spoiler
Magna-Ride

Up for £46,600, which seems pretty good value since its available. They have provisionally offered me £26K PX for mine which doesn't seem too bad, as i know WBAC will find bits to knock off the £27K!!

Have paid a £100 holding deposit, and am off to have a discussion tomorrow!!

Shame its in sodding Peterborough, which is a 3H drive!
Ah TCH ford they always used to be way out on price.

Just tried mine, 2019 Civic Type R I bought for £27,500 last November, WBAC offered £28,300. Strange times.

Its strange - they bid £5k more than Porsche who were really REALLY lowballing me as i've seen what their retail prices are - like £13k over bid. There's only 6 of these for sale nationwide so no idea what is going on. I was also assured of great residuals when I bought it rather than a shoeing too!!!!

I took my car there today, apart from "5 or more stone chips" on the bonnet/front, they couldn't fast the car. Ended up with more than they offered..... ?

Which experts? Asking on a serious note, as I may keep mine for another 6-9 months if prices hold for that long.

I was considering selling mine and getting a cheap run around instead, as it’s entirely used in London for short trips, which is the most pointless place ever to have a performance car.
