Worth shopping around first. They will price match and still give the PH discount on top.12pc off using a code there.

Hi,
New to PH and car leasing! Had a look around some dealers today at 1 series, A class & Golf. All seemed to be offering 48 month deals, however most I see posted here are for 24 months. Checking Carwow for comparisons and it seems there not much difference between 24/36/48 month leases in terms of monthly cost. Sometimes 48 month being higher (greater interest accrued I guess?)
What are the advantages/disadvantages of long v short term lengths?
Steve

After 3 years it will need an MOT, not a major cost if it passes but it might not.New to PH and car leasing! Had a look around some dealers today at 1 series, A class & Golf. Services differ by mileage and age so keeping it longer might mean getting a higher service bill.
Tyres, brakes etc might need replacing.
At 2 years you may avoid alot of this

Long time lurker but first time poster here.
The PCP deal on the BMW M4 posted on the previous page has caught my eye, and I'm just trying to do some man math.
Having done a bit of looking around, a c. 4 year old M4 with 30,000 miles goes for £32-35k. The balloon payment on the office is £24k. Even with a bit of fat for a dealer, there's got to be a bit of 'profit' to atleast offset the monthlies in this? Taking a c. £5k 'profit' this makes the deal seem even more attractive.
I appreciate this is very much crystal balling, but is there anything else that I am missing?? Thanks.

The problem is the dealers are headlining basic vehicles and there are none left unless you find a dealer who has marked a car as sold or had a cancellation.Across most major BMW in UK.

I cancelled my V60 T4 R Design order today in favour of the S60 T5 Inscription (winter pack, reversing camera, Fusion Red) from Santander.. I was well chuffed with the previous offer at 359/month but 296/month for the better engine and more goodies was an absolute no brainer. Plus I get the car in a couple of weeks rather than mid Jan.
Have to say Santander have been brilliant, 1st time leasing and couldn’t be happier with service so far. No qualms about changing the order today!
Great choice, same colour as mine really pleased with it so far nearly 3 months in its just not the best on fuel!Have to say Santander have been brilliant, 1st time leasing and couldn’t be happier with service so far. No qualms about changing the order today!
Mine was a R-Design launch edition (19s and HK) direct from Volvo at £259pm on a 6+23. It seems the deals are even better now with no deposit oh well!
