Do people just turn up to show rooms and ask for a test drive or call ahead to arrange it?
Usually calling ahead means they take you seriouslyLast time I walked into a dealership without preappointment (Volkswagen) I was treated like dirt, as with Vauxhall, BMW and Toyota
Salesmen generally dont give a st unless they have you in their books

Yes, it was with Zen. My test drive wasn't the best, given it had no battery in it so I was left with the 150bhp 1.4 turbo unit powering the car, but for me, whilst having some power is great (and 250bhp combined isn't bad), it's more the specification, toys, nice place to sit, etc, plus with it having 35ish mile range on battery alone (not sure if that's real world figures), but still, all value adds for me and it's a pretty good deal as well.
In my Cupra I get about 25 miles per charge in warmer months, and 18 miles in colder.jellywire9 said:
Zenauto have the curpa leon estate 1.4 hybrid for 1k upfront 338 pcm 5k miles on 24 months. Is this deal any good? Looks much cheaper than any other brokers.
Assuming it’s the VZ2/VZ3, it’s not a bad deal but not quite as good as the hatchback equivalents we’ve had on here recently.Searching for SUV, need before June 10th. Looking at Tucson/Tiguan type things. Had a Citroen C5 Aircross previously and they're awful.
Trying to minimise the amount up front.
Best two deals i've seen so far are below.
Would prefer automatic.
Not particularly fussed about any particulary spec/options, unless there's a recommendation on some must-haves.
Any advice on a better option? thanks!

I've got the base spec manual engine but 'ultimate' spec interior so it has all the bells and whistles. I use mine for dogs/tip runs/trips away etc and it's perfect as I value the comfort of the options over the rather lacklustre engine for my specific usage. Not particularly fussed about any particulary spec/options, unless there's a recommendation on some must-haves.

If it were my daily I would go hybrid auto and do without the sunroof, rear heated seats, vented front seats etc.
They're great cars and make the german equivalents look like dinosaurs. They're perfect in the gap up to Disco5 etc.

I've got the Ultimate in the Hybrid 230PS guise. It's certainly farm from exciting but it's got enough 'go' for junctions and general driving, it's well equipped and just does a really good job of being a good car for the dogs and longer journeys. If it were my daily I would go hybrid auto and do without the sunroof, rear heated seats, vented front seats etc.

We went for Ultimate spec because it was the only way to get memory seats - Me and my OH have very different driving positions and it's a small nuisance to have to sort the seating each time you get in. The panoramic roof is very rarely revealed but it is nice to have the cooled seats when the sun has been blaring on that black pleather.
We've just extended our 3+23 for another 12months at £408/month after failing to find any suitable replacements.

It’s not bad for the current climate although I would expect the milage to be 10k given these vehicles used to be sub £300, that being said, it is black edition and this can often be a large premium when it comes to leasing. I too get 9 upfront so unlike some I don’t see that as an issue. Do you have an Audi currently? You could get a loyalty discount if so. The A5 sportback s-line was £340 a month or so back on 9+23 10k with such a discount applied. Audi A4 black edition 35tfsi Tronic
