Ok - so, the misses is narrowing down her requirements () and we're at:
Auto
Diesel
Something 'prestige'
12kish miles a year
2 year lease is preferable (3+23 if poss but can do 6+23 for the right deal)
What can the PH lease gurus drum up?
I've found this I think she'd like

I'll have to dig it out tomorrow, but I'm sure I had an email last week for an SLK250 at £205pcm on 23+6. My memory may be wildly out, though!Auto

E300 seems like a good deal. £9k over 2 years to run about in a £42k car - surely that's way less than the depreciation.
Broadspeed are doing them for £36,600 but even then I reckon £9k would be quite a bit less than the depreciation over 2 years.
If it was an E350 wagon I'd be interested.Broadspeed are doing them for £36,600 but even then I reckon £9k would be quite a bit less than the depreciation over 2 years.
How many of these deals are actually real? A few of the merc ones I have followed up were headline rates to draw attention and the actual pricing was above the advertised deal. In the case of c class estates as much as £100 month extra.
I was just told that they will announce some new pricing next week, which may include some of the cheaper unattainable pricing that was flying around last week.
Hope so as I want a deal but getting a bit bored of getting the run aorund...

Most of them aren't real, mate. They're designed to get you enquiring so that the salesman can talk you into something they "currently have on offer". The usual trick (and i've noticed this a lot on mercedes) is to price it £10-£15 lower than they can actually get it for. The car will be priced up with solid paint, but mercedes , for instance, only reduce their quotes by a couple of quid for solid paint. So, they 100% will not be able to do this deal (the last car has just been sold etc etc). I suppose they gamble on the fact that the customer can't be bothered to go elsewhere and will take a higher priced car from them!I was just told that they will announce some new pricing next week, which may include some of the cheaper unattainable pricing that was flying around last week.

The quotes you would have seen last week would have been available at some point on stock vehicles, but most of the stock has now gone..
Currently looking at something on a lease for the Mrs. I'm feeling quite smug at the deal I got on my Octavia vRS as they've almost doubled in terms of the monthly. Anyhow there are some good deals knocking about on the new Leon, found a deal on a 2.0 TDI in FR spec for £1250 down and £205 a month on a 2 year deal with 10k per annum miles.
How about a C63 estate for £520?
£3900 in for 24 months at 10k

A bit of inconsistency with the VAT above means it's actually £16643.81 over 24 months or £693 average.Expensive, yes, but notably less so than buying one for £55k and trading it in for £35k in two years.
No one should pretend that it's a cheap car but it is a less expensive one.
Given that these cars go for £30k retail on a 59 plate, so probably about £24k trade, I can see them depreciating to £17k trade over two years, plus £3000 for a warranty and you might as well lease the new one anyway.
I've been considering a lease for a while after having such a crap approved used experience. I might go for a 2 year deal on a workhorse and get something for the weekend.
I run a simple spreadsheet looking at the total costs inc a bit for fuel etc just based on the stats... a few decent deals came up:
Freedom have the B200 CDi Sport for around £195 inc vat over 2 years with £1700 down.
Gateway has the Seat Leon ST FR Tdi for £216ish inc vat with £1300 down.
These are on 10,000 miles but seem like decent "prices" for workhorses.
I'll wait to see how Jaguar end up treating me with my approved used fiasco before I decide.

So, we've had the M5 deals, M135, and more recently the Golf R PCH deals. What do people think might be the next "bargain" deal offered by the finance companies?
I guess it depends what new models are coming out soon which the manufacturer wants to push....?
Thoughts?
More commonly old model year, pre facelift or run out models that need to be gone. New models that the manufacturer supports to get more of them out there, they tend to be less common.I guess it depends what new models are coming out soon which the manufacturer wants to push....?
