Is it a poor man's Golf though? Better spec'd for a start, but lacking 4wd. Somewhere on YouTube there is a back to back test.egoold said:

What are the best deals around on a Range Rover evoque and a golf GTD?
The prices seem to vary massively between leasing companies.
If you can settle for the Seat Leon FR 184ps instead (Same chasis, engine, gearbox and a few other bits) then there's a great deal at Plan leasing in Essex. It's on a reasonable 10k miles PA, not 5k or anything like thatThe prices seem to vary massively between leasing companies.
That's the headline deal, I've gone for a DSG version with Tech pack and 12k miles per annum, fully maintained. £285 per month with one months deposit (1+23)
I currently own an 09 Renault Laguna Coupe 180 and when I factor in the cheaper insurance, no MOT's, no servicing, at least 30% better MPG, no road tac etc. The new Leon isn't actually that much more expensive and I have the luxury of a new car.

I'm looking for a deal for my daughter, small hatch such as an Aygo/C1/Up size car, 2 year max, around £120/month 10k/yr, I've found a new C1 on Lings on a 3+11 at £119 which looks good but the daughter (bless her) doesn't like the headlamps, anyone seen anything else?
When you amortise that 3+11 that works put at £138.9 pm so on a more common3+23 you could be looking at closer to £130 deals for the same monthly outlay. The genis for the C1/107 is the Toyota Aygo which can be had for that sort of money http://www.nationwidevehiclecontracts.co.uk/Toyota...Octavia vRS for £199/m anyone?

Or how about a top spec Yeti for the same (but half the deposit)?

Thanks Beefmister, seems decent.with the deposit factored across you're looking at £275 p/month over 2 years (8k miles)...im no expert but I am looking for a lease on a decent sized family saloon/estate...that seems reasonable...any other family car suggestions (Merc, BMW, Audi?)

I've ordered the Leon FR 184 too for my wife from Plan. Manual, 10k p/a, 3+23, tech pack, convenience pack, 18'' wheels and some other bits inc. maintenance pack for £245-ish a month. Got to be a good deal. Delivery in July. We looked at the GTD too, but spec is far more basic for at least £75 more per month & the lead times are ridiculous. Pretty impressive deal this... Golf R 5dr DSG for £2,529.63 down + £281.07pm for 24 months. Think my old man is tempted...

I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be as a Citroen C1 salesman, or a broker, telling a daughter in front of her father that she could have a Touch or a Feel....http://www.arnoldclark.com/new-cars/citroen/c1/
