Best Lease Car Deals Available? (Vol 3)

Which broket did you callto get £750 off?
I suggest ringing your local vw dealer. I did just that yesterday and they beat what i already thought was a cracking deal on a scirocco from a broker by £500 over the term.I have also contacted my local VW dealer who have beat this quote with £750 cash back and quoted Urano Grey.

I know the website, but can't find that exact deal. Cheapest I can find the DSG model for is £182 inc VAT.adaM3 said:
It was sent via email, I'm not sure if its open to all but... <snip>
Club membership is £150 by the look of things, so if you amortise (sorry) that across the term of the lease, it's £241.50 pcm (assuming you go for one of the Coopers)Can't decide if it's a good deal or not. In some ways that's quite a lot (13% of list for a year) but then depreciation isn't linear so actually you'll be ahead of the depreciation curve. And £240 per month with no deposit for a fairly interesting, fairly fun little car does seem like an interesting proposition.
Hmmm.

That's a good deal - even allowing for excess mileage, it's about £40 a month less than I'm paying for my diesel FR. Although the levels of kit included in the Tech pack (and as standard) have been reduced since I got mine last January.SEAT Leon Hatchback

I know that this is the lease deal thread but thought I'd ask anyway.
I have 2 lease cars going back this year. One at 2 years old and one at 4. Am I expected to have had the 2nd service done on the 2 year old or the 4th service and a 2nd MOT done on the 4 year old? I've read conflicting info.
Having read the contracts it just states completed service book in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and a valid mot.
So if I arrange collection of both a fortnight before end of contract would I get away with it? One car is with ALD and the other from Lex.

Having 2nd thoughts about the XC60 now, before I sign has anyone found anything on the Tiguan SEL?
Local dealer can only do £2500 down and £290 per month, 9k miles per year over 24 months
Has anyone beat this?
It was last quarter but I paid £2400+ £189x23 on a 5k for a stock 2.0 TDI SEL in Urano GreyLocal dealer can only do £2500 down and £290 per month, 9k miles per year over 24 months

Correct me if I'm wrong, but just a quick reminder to be careful if you're offered a stock deal. It looks like I'm going to be paying for my first service in Month 8-9 due to it being a pre-reg car (I was informed over the phone otherwise before hand) . Therefore guaranteeing the need for the second service also.

2 year leases you should be able to just do 1 service right before you send it back - at least with VWFS.

Yes. This just happened to me. Bit painful. Got car (330d) in March on 2yr deal. Was 1700miles away from service in Dec. First Jan it's telling me to get service! Turns out its miles or 2yrs. My car was registered it seems in Dec. Bit miffed as was hoping to get away without a service (16k deal with service interval 18k ish). Nearly £300 lighter now. Going to see about hanging on to the car for a few more months to get my moneys worth out of the new oil !sabid said:

Mercedes will let you go (from memory) 1000 miles or 30 days over, so you are allowed to send the car back with the service light on. What you need to do is leave the first service as long overdue as you can - say four to six weeks. This will buy you a nice big buffer at the end of the second year - and they aren't going to spot that on return.

This doesn't happen with Mercs from stock (ie. all mine), they've always come obviously set when they are being readied for delivery. I've noticed that they've gone from mileage to days now, which helps.

Sabid - Yes, I feel your pain as that's what sunk in today for me on day 6 of having the car after going to merc today to clear it up with them. Dog Star .. that's good advice. I will and will book the service with that in mind.
Thought it was worth a mention for readers, as I've been glued to these threads but this has then gone and caught me out (kind of , as I did actually ask the broker mid-deal but I obviously was a bit naive and listened to their answe when they're after a contract completion).

No harm in asking. Most success comes when speaking to the fleet sales manager.
Apparently there is a backlog on the 1.4 TSI engined cars as they can't make them fast enough. So delivery is looking like May. That's what my local Dealer said earlier.I'm getting a quote on a 2.0 TDI FR. see if they can do a good deal on that for me.
will update when I know more.
