Are you hammered? Did I say it was a good deal? Am I protective of it? I just wanted opinions?

Also, I had already spoken to Evans Halshaw and yes, it's a 17 week wait, which is why the deal I was offered appealed because the car would be here within 3 weeks.

I don't know if you are at lunch and bored but seriously, give it a rest.

The deal I was offered by Evans Halshaw Fords, was the following

TDCI 150 Titanium X
10k miles per year
3+23 (641.95 down and 23 x 213.98)
Excess Mileage 5.64p

The only issue was a 17 week wait, so i didn't go for it. I have gone for an Evoque deal now, same wait, but for something I would prefer to a Kuga and its a 4 year deal as 24 months comes round to quick to be messing about sorting out the family wheels. As you mention, its just to do a job, ferry the kids around etc.

Don't get me wrong if the Kuga could have been delivered sooner, I would have signed up before I even started to look at other models/deals. The Kuga is still a nice family car.

Thanks for this! I spoke to EH yesterday about this deal, and like you say it's a 4 month wait. Unfortunately we have a dog that is quadrupling in size daily so need an estate or SUV sooner. Otherwise, like you I would have waited for the Kuga delivery.

Errr, I was just using this deal to backup my point.

Think you need to have a break.

Has anybody dealt with a company called Vehicle Savers before?

I'm looking for a cheap runaround slightly bigger than a C1/Aygo/107 at the moment and they have listed

Seat Ibiza FR 1.6 CR TDI sport coupe, works out total cost over 2 years and 20k at £3817.67 inc vat and fees. Other than Corsas I can't find any similar cheap deals at the moment

Chris.
Is this a good deal? https://www.vehiclesavers.com/car-leasing/seat/ibi...

Looking at the 10k PA deal 6+23 total is £3576

Normally I'm an advocate of cheap lease deals, especially on a car that will cost buttons to run, however for such a short term I would probably get a £600 interesting snotter and run it until either it fell apart or I got bored of it.

There was no link, it came from Central Vehicle leasing, Scott Thomas

Doesn't look like it is on their website but the deal came through at 14:37, so should still be valid.

You couldn't pay me that much to drive a Kuga. It's also not a good deal.
I wasn't asking for an opinion on the car... is it not a good deal because of the car or not a good deal because you have seen better? Please elaborate.
Ignore this wker and his unhelpful response; he's probably never even driven one. Also most authoritative sources would say that the Kuga is one of the better 4x4 options.

Are your figures inc VAT? If not you can do better through G2L.

Personally I consider a Nissan Qashqai Ntec or Skoda Yeti Elegance as credible alternatives.

According to the G2L website all 3 options are available from stock.

This offer of £1350 deposit and £175 inc VAT for the Skoda Yeti 170bhp 4x4 (8,000mpa) looks to be great value.

Anyone have any info on Seat Leon lead times? None of the leasing companies have returned my calls/emails and Seat UK haven't even bothered either.
I have been looking into the Seat Cupra. Seems they are discontinuing the 266 so they are selling them off. The cars are ordered and can have options added. Was advised June/July delivery.

The kuga deal is Inc vat. At 260 a month over 24 months (that'd including the upfront spread across) I figured it was reasonable. I could shop around for longer but a lot of kugas seem to be a long delivery whilst this in stock.

Am waiting on a couple qashqai quotes as well. Frankly I'm okay with any Estate or suv that comes in around 220 a month overall and is in stock. Can wait up to eight weeks but no more as our new dog is turning into Digby each day!

Hi, do you have a link to the Cupra deal please?

One below was posted earlier in the thread (280) but not sure how competitive it is?

This thread is not for discussing whether or not leasing is good or bad. It is a place for people to post good lease deals!!!
without wishing to sound like an arse - but isn't the whole leasing is good/bad bit part of the discussion as to whether a good lease deal really is good?

There are some good deals to be had with those around £200
The executive has all the options you'd want, except the bigger wheels so not zero tax frown
For Zero you need the SE but no split rear seats - if I have that right
Neither have parking sensors or spare wheel.
The executive gets leather seats, an option on the SE
I'm assuming that both have only 1 reversing light.

£180 is a good deal all the same. It averages over 24 as 217.50 per month or £2610 per year
That's a lot of car for your money, but missing some of the little things

£8k for 3 years use? I've just bought a new one for £11k, of which £1k was for extras.

Just add fuel should be insurance, servicing and road tax (if there is any to pay) all included as part of the monthly cost. Depending how much that costs for 3 years that sounds like a good deal.
