Thinking about leasing a new Mini Cooper, but I have a question about servicing. Is this normally included in the lease or is this something I need to pay myself?
Normally something you pay for yourself, unless you go for a fully maintained deal.It does depend somewhat on the servicing schedule. For instance I lease a MK7 Golf GTD which has Longlife servicing and the date shown on the computer for the first service is after I am due to hand it back. I've checked with my lease company and they confirmed that my only duty is to stick to the service schedule, meaning I won't have to service it.

You can get maintenance included quotes if you wish - almost all prices you'll see won't include it though - but 9 times out of 10 it's cheaper to pay for a service plan separately or, in the case of 2 year deal, just pay for that service on its own and factor in the costs of whatever else may be covered by the maintenance.TonyF55 said:
Very nice, same model as us ED4 SE Tech, standard spec too. To be honest i think they have a very good standard spec.
Colour wise it was toss up between Corris or Firenze, we went for Corris with black trim. Also gone for the 506 wheels but am tempting to swap for the no cost option 706 wheels.
Like you the wife decided colour/wheels and i just pay for it only reason for a possible wheel swap is because a friend has just taken delivery of a Pure Tech with the same 506 wheels.
You definitely win the First World Problem of the Week Award. Colour wise it was toss up between Corris or Firenze, we went for Corris with black trim. Also gone for the 506 wheels but am tempting to swap for the no cost option 706 wheels.

I always thought decent Lease deals would be in short supply on the Evoque as Land Rover don't seem to have any trouble selling them.

ED4 is 2 wheel drive, SD4 is 4 x 4.
Dynamic is about 8-10k more expensive so factor that in on the calculations, then again worth more at re sale so maybe PCP for Dynamic.
I have been quoted as PCP a SD4 SE Tech Auto standard with 5500 deposit, 301 x 35 with GFV at about 20k, thats with 12.5% MOD discount of list.
Yep the large deposit is always the killer on PCP though as it's essentially money you'll never see back. That is why the 3+X lease deals appeal.Dynamic is about 8-10k more expensive so factor that in on the calculations, then again worth more at re sale so maybe PCP for Dynamic.

I know you get lots of extra kit with the Dynamic but there is a huge jump in price from the Pure to the Dynamic. Just wish they offered the Pure with the option of an aero kit or something to make it look more like the Dynamic. That would keep the OH happy and personally I think the unpainted rubber strips on the Pure look a bit cheap and nasty.

Any half-decent M135i deals going? Looking for a 5-door Auto.
If you fancy a quick (diesel) 3 series, this looks good. http://www.gateway2lease.com/z_bmw_3-seriessaloon_... or £10 more for the estate.Trif said:

That's a good deal, I have this car coming next week, I'm paying about £15 per month less but on a 9 + 23 deal so the 6 + 23 is good value.cheechm said:
Are there any good lease deals on a Golf GTD at the moment?
Freedom deals look good - http://www.freedomcontracts.com/Volkswagen-Golf-2....TonyF55 said:

Can I ask where you got these deals and how much? The missus is quite keen on the Evoque (which women isn't? )
The problem I have is we went to look at a couple in the showroom and they had a SE sat right next to a Dynamique is it which has the body kit on it, guess which one she liked? Problem is when looking at leasing, those seem to be about twice the monthly cost of the standard spec ones!
My deal is for an ED4 SE Tech 5 door on a 6+47 deal, 8k miles a yearThe problem I have is we went to look at a couple in the showroom and they had a SE sat right next to a Dynamique is it which has the body kit on it, guess which one she liked? £1620 down as 1st payment and the 47 x £270 a month, but they have got more expensive over the last few weeks. I ordered mine in April/May, originally the 1st quote was through a leasing firm, but then spoke to a LR Dealer and they beat the quote, so ordered through the dealer.

sad I know, but i didn't like the 706 design and the 506 design "look" quiet similar to the 20" wheels on the dynamicColour wise it was toss up between Corris or Firenze, we went for Corris with black trim. Also gone for the 506 wheels but am tempting to swap for the no cost option 706 wheels.

Just about to push the button on a Peugeot 208 GTI Prestige (with optional armrest!) and want to make sure I am not missing something that represents a better deal for a fun well equipped car?
The total price inc vat over 18 months is £3509.83 (£89.99 x 17, £1800 upfront and £180admin fee)
Appreciate your thoughts.

Is that with 5kpa or 10kpa? Does not sound far off if it's 10kpa mine works out around £300 cheaper but with no arm rest however much that is
Ok thanks.. Not that keen on the only free colour(white), but the only other colour I would consider is a Matt/Satin Grey (£24 per month extra). What did you go for?illmonkey said:
