Unless you are doing airport runs you're going to look a bit of a knob in that, it is the size of a supertanker.Mercedes-Benz S Class Diesel Saloon

That's a great deal, too bad it's for a business lease. I work near Heathrow so I would fit right in! Loads of room for the family and maybe some extra cash doing an airport run on the way to/from work! silentbrown said:

mate of mine has been banging on about a PCP deal on a Kia Sportage something like £1500 deposit and then £170 a month 10k miles... i mean sounds ok cheap enough but i can't help but think it would be a) cheaper on a lease and b) there are far better cars available for barely any more money. What say you collective? I think it needs to be big booted, but that's about it.
See the stonking Yeti deals. This one's gone up a few hundred, but still a bargain for a range-topper.https://www.selectcarleasing.co.uk/car-leasing/sko...

Those yeti deals are great! I'd hit the go button but the wife insists on 4wd! Does anyone know of any deals on a 4x4 yeti or other cars which are cheap? 5-8k is fine!
Simpsons always a good starting point. They have the 150ps 4x4 Monte Carlo for £1500 & £189 for 8k.http://www.simpsonsskoda.co.uk/new-car-offers/yeti...
Worth speaking to your local dealer as mine could match or beat Simpsons prices.

Lease related question, advice appreciated.
I had a slow puncture on my OSR tyre and phoned the finance company (Hitachi) to report this as i have a maintenance plan. ATS Euromaster came to my home address the next morning and put a brand new tyre on the car (punctured tyre had done 1800 miles and tread was 7mm), no attempt to repair the tyre was made, as it was a slow puncture i thought they would repair it. I never thought much more about it until i got the recharge invoice for the new tyre sent to my home address. The question is where do i stand as they as supposed to repair repairable punctures? I phoned them up to query this but the buck got passed and someone was supposed to call me back but surprise surprise i never heard a thing, any advice on what i should do as not too happy with this as seems a bit underhand tactics.

I'm getting a bit obsessed with leases, but when you consider the discounts achieved via the likes of Orangewheels or DTD, I wonder if a more sensible option is to buy on a PCP scheme. Granted it may be a 3 year term rather than 2. At least at the end of it you have the option to buy, and if you're lucky it would be cheaper than current market value. If you then sold the car off and made a few thousand, you then deduct this off your rental charges.
A 2 year lease on the sort of car I'm after is going to cost me around £12-13k. The £56k Audi I want can be had for £41k. Based on current pricing, I estimate it to still be worth £30k in 3 years time. So that's £11k over 3 years. In theory. Hopefully.
Oh, that's not included the finance costs...
You can have PCP for 2 years, just need to get a quote for that to compare to lease deal. And as someone pointed out, you have to use trade-in prices in calculations, because there's a small chance you will be able to sell car privately, not to a trader. Thank you both for them.
I'm going to try and convince my wife that th 1.2 2wd yeti with snow socks on would be fine for winter in the north east...
The 2wd with winter tyres on would be your best bet , that's what I have, bought some used wheels and a set of winter tyres so I'm not swapping them every 6 months, win win, you can send the yeti back on its original tyres and if you don't get another the winter wheels and tyres sell easily enough for £400-500 I'm going to try and convince my wife that th 1.2 2wd yeti with snow socks on would be fine for winter in the north east...
Just get her to watch this video to highlight the difference between a 4wd on summer tyres and a 2wd on winter tyres

Did anyone get the A6 deal from CVL? I sent off the proposal form on Wednesday morning and not heard anything back.
Yes and I have just had my order confirmed. Apparently they were promised 80 vehicles but ended up with only 15, I guess I got lucky.
After submitting my proposal I did phone them the next day to see what was happening as I hadn't heard anything and then got my order form last night.
Anyway thanks to whoever posted that offer as I would never have thought that I would be driving an Audi A6. It isn't a car that I have ever considered, especially as I used to work for BMW, but I couldn't resist the deal.
Nice one, are you going with any extras? I've spoken to the broker and have been told the same. However I have been offered the same car from through another Audi dealer for ~£230 per month inc vat. Around £25 per month more than the original deal but I think it's still worth it. Need to decide quick!

Without trawling though the thread (lazy, I know!) which A6 deal is it? I'm in the market for an A6 (ish) family car at the moment. Cheers.Edited by SPD14 on Friday 27th May 14:50
