Looks like the Touareg was a misprice- now £574 on same terms
Yep - got an email back from Keith this morning quoting 467 +vat on 5k mileage 1+35. Thats 560 a month for 5k mileage, I can get an X3 M40i for only £20 a month more, and with 8k mileage, albeit on 1+47. I know which I'd rather have!PAL62V said:
New to this site but not new to PCH, BCH and PCP. Needing to replace mine around Feb next year on a PCH or PCP if good deals. But already looking at how prices have jumped. However that could be in part to my looking for a convertible in summer, and not next winter when I’d actually need to get it.
So I have always gotten what I think are pretty decent deals. A few q’s for you though:
What is the generally held opinion on the percentage of the RRP that the lease/PCP should be over say, 3 years, 15,000/yr (45,000 total), no maintenance? I am currently looking at MX-5s. Generally around £298/mo on a 9+36, 15,000pa. RRP of car is about £24,000.
I tend to use leasing.com to compare prices as they seem to cover all the brokers that leaseloco, etc cover and more. Can anyone suggest a better option?
This Abarth 595 is approx the same RRP as the MX5 and is usefully cheaper on the same terms https://leasing.com/independent-brokers/carlease-u...So I have always gotten what I think are pretty decent deals. A few q’s for you though:

Yes - that's the sort of price I'd love to find. I'm not sure I can see myself in a 500 though tbh! Lovely cars I admit but not really me. I am hoping I might get a better deal in the winter on the Mazda. That said, there was some cracking deals last winter on the BMW 2 series convertible so that might end up being the one. PAL62V said:

Might be worth enquiring with Santander about the MX-5. They seem to specialise in Mazda (and Volvo) and while they only display a few deals on their website, they'll quote for models not shown. https://www.santanderconsumer.co.uk/123contracthir...

Would appreciate any thoughts on this lease deal, I think it is basically OK but nothing special ?
BMW 320i M Sport Auto, Metallic paint option
£1,714+VAT = £2,057 initial payment plus 47 x £285.67+VAT = £343 a month.
I make that £18,178 over the 4 years.
8k miles per annum.
This seems to be a fair bit cheaper? https://dreamlease.co.uk/deals/car-leasing/bmw/3-s...BMW 320i M Sport Auto, Metallic paint option

A tad cheaper than leasing.com too?

Inchcape have a couple of 3 series offers which whilst not amazing, seem usefully cheaper than anything on Leaseloco on the same terms:
330e £385 1+47 8k p.a. https://www.inchcape.co.uk/new-cars/offers/bmw-3-s...
M340d £499 1+47 8k p.a. https://www.inchcape.co.uk/new-cars/offers/bmw-3-s...

M340d £499 1+47 8k p.a. https://www.inchcape.co.uk/new-cars/offers/bmw-3-s...
330e seems an alright deal, if you're after delivery now.
Can't find it cheaper elsewhere, but 4 years is a bit much.
When is the G20 due a refresh/new version?

If i'm looking at leasing should i be on any mailing lists or just keep checking the likes of Leaseloco?
Check the main aggregators - Leasing.com, Leaseloco, Moneyshake, Carwow, AutoLeaseCompare, Cars2Buy.Check What Car Leasing
Get yourself on mailing lists - Stable (they'll let you know there's a VW deal, which would be easily beaten by most brokers), Central - although they do have lots of incorrect pricing in their emails, Gateway 2 Lease, Car Lease Special Offers (Wessex Fleet), along with a few more. Depends if you want to deal with a local company etc.
Check this thread.
This is my main source of lease deals, I got my R estate through here, and my 840i. Both of those deals were also on HUKD, but a lot more expensive.
HTH.

If you can stretch your budget to £385, I'd say the deal posted with inchape for the 330e PHEV is the better car. Once you drive electric, you won't wana go back. On a 1+47 it's £18,480 over the 4 yearsBMW 320i M Sport Auto, Metallic paint option

Bloody waste of time and sharing all of my financial details for a fishing exercise.
Just as well I don't actually need a car at the moment.
Not good form, guess I won't be hearing from them again!
Hi guys,
Been keeping an eye on this thread for a while as my Peugeot 508 Fastback goes back in a few weeks and have found that I am sharing in the frustration of much higher prices, stock delays (due to some issue to do with a microchip factory in China I'm told) and being suckered into that wonderfuly tantalising Touareg deal that was just posted - I also enquired and got the "oh sorry - there was a little mistake, all corrected now and it would be much more expensive. Would you like to proceed with the order anyway" email.
In the meantime I have come across another option and wondered what you, the seasoned and all knowing PCH veterans thought:
Hyundai Tucson Estate 1.6 TGDi Hybrid 230 Premium 5dr 2WD Auto
48 months & 10k miles pa
£306 on basis of 6 + 47
£234 processing fee
Link as follows
https://dreamlease.co.uk/deals/car-leasing/hyundai...
This appeals to me as it will come into stock in Aug but grateful if you could advise on thoughts of the deal itself.
TIA

Can only hope that deals improve over the summer , though not holding my breath.
Out of interest, for those who went into leasing, already owning a car, how did you shift the old one? Webuyanycar etc / Private sale? Imagine leasing companies don't have any sort of Part-Ex contract with BCA ?
