Audi tt as second car

My insurance has just leapt from £1500 to £2100 from inflation alone and that’s with an extra year of NCD. I can swallow that financially but it still grates on me every time I think about it.

My son's 18, and on his 2nd MINI Cooper, full aero kit etc. His first lasted about 5hrs thanks to some twunt in an X3 running into him and writing it off.

I'm the wrong side of 50, and still have a mk1 TT on my bucket list before we're all EV'd.

Good stuff. I'm in a Clio 200 Cup just now, planning another MINI next year. I like the idea of us both rocking up to shows in MINIs.

I think you are right to reject the mx in that price range because they tend to rot. The Audi is better built, as is the Cooper S but in the price range quoted you would need the original (BMW) MINI as later ones have worse engines.
