Missed the boat on the A5 deal - was awaiting the dealer to get back to me as he was sure he could beat the online prices (which were working out around £310 amortised per month). Called me back too late - I have a suspicion he was waiting for the quarter to end and deals to disappear. Best he could do was £325 a month on a 6+23 10k mileage.
Back to the drawing board - if anyone sees any good A5 deals let me know - but I guess that ship has sailed now!!
What A5 deal? I've been keeping an eye out for it for ages and haven't seen any? Unless it's less than S-Line you mean as I am only interested in the S-line or Black Edition.

Looks interesting! Been looking at an A7 for a while. Cheaper here by about £250 over the term. Anyone seen any better?

I had similar deals saved although when I asked for a formal quote the broker then said JLR Finance aren't offering the same discount in Q4 and prices jumped over £650 per month with 5K down..

I also had one as a loan car for 2 days and decided it wasn't for me.....
I’ve got a formal quote, just checking around to make sure I can’t get a better deal before signing up..

This looks like a good offering for what I think is the face-lift A4 Black Ed and Auto. Its through Car lease Special Offers. 30 TDI is available for the same price through G2L

Additional fees £198.00

A5 deals were about last month - mostly on the basic sport spec, although I thought the spec was pretty good. Nationwide Car Contracts did do an SLine model with metallic paint included for cheap - I think it worked out around £330 a month amortised. But that has been and gone.

Lizzy,

I really hope you guys will get Kevin a beer or two at the Christmas night out. It was his post that started the craziness which his colleagues are all getting rewarded for too! hehe
Seconded. His post hit this group on his day off!
Could I get a pint or two also for being the one to share on here laughbeer

Alternatively Lizzy, if you could find a cracking 5 series touring deal for me that would be perfect rolleyes

Sure, I checked your other post but there was no link. I had a deal saved slightly less that your one which I nearly went for and the vehicle P11D was £79,545 so gives you an idea of the options on the vehicle but then broker couldn't honor the deal they had sent me so if you have the quote in black and white I'd say go for it and hope they process it.

If you have a formal quote that’s still valid it’s worth getting in fairly quick. Delivery times have started to slip towards January/February now for the P400e orders that were placed in September.

I’m not in a massive rush, we have an X5 which I own, so it’s not like we’ll be without a car.
The broker confirmed the lead time was Jan/Feb so thinking I may as well order and delay for a registration in March on a new 20 plate.

Are people not bothered about getting a new plate when it’s only a lease? Maybe I’m just vein not wanting to order a car for delivery in Feb, when for the sake of waiting a week or so, the car won’t look 6 months older than it is. ??

Shame they couldn’t honour the deal!

My P11D is £76,565.00 so yours at £79,545 and less per month than mine is a great deal, but like you say meaningless if they couldn’t honour it.. frown

I couldn’t add a link as they didn’t have my exact 3 years and 8k miles listed, I had to get a personal quote for that.

That's a shame. Seat just don't seem to want to put a deal on for the Cupra Atecas. I've yet to see a good deal on these ever since they came out.

That's a good deal, mine was slightly more!

I managed to get a formal quote in before September month end, but by the time the quoting system came back up last week the price had gone up slightly. My signed up deal is £704 per month, including privacy glass and ebony headliner as the only options on the HSE dynamic. £704 per month, 3+35. Works out £26,752 so the deal posted earlier would have been fantastic (if they could honour it!)

The quotes I managed to get in September were only around £10 a month less so there wasn't a big jump in prices as expected. The thing that's annoying me the most is metallic paint is an extra £25 per month - I don't really want to pay that but I also don't want milf spec white!

"Milf spec white" laugh....hilarious.....that's my only preference also is anything but white. But yeah feel your frustration with the whole paying extra for a metallic colour!

I cancelled mine two weeks ago for an i-pace, same spec you've ordered and i'm still tracking it with the order number... it's currently awaiting loading onto the boat. PM me if you want the dealers details. £285 3+23 10k miles a year, £7,440 so looks same as yours with extra miles.
Can't seem to PM but I'd be interested in the i-pace deal you mention.

Also looking at them for an A4 Avant Black Edition 40 TFSi (so not the underpowered 35):
35+6
10,000 miles
£2,010 deposit, £198 fee
£335/monthly
Straight Lined £387.03
I think that works out at 24%. Not sure if there is better out there?

Can anyone why went with the 420i deal confirm that DL Bristol quote for 8k standard white is £1000 plus 24 x £269?

Trying to get the price matched but the garage am speaking to just now are insisting that Dick's prices excludes VAT which am disputing.
