Thinking 41 is too young to get one of these, but have a strange desire to try one for a year or so. Any good? Saw this today, looks fantastic for the price.

It looks in great nick for a 17yr old motor. Nice car. He’s looking for 6 bags, I’d put 5 on the bonnet for starters (not over the phone).

Only 45k miles? Probably need a good run tbh.

I wouldn’t worry about the age thing. You’ll get hooked on the car as do will be very sensible, but quick wish when required. Other life things will happen, cars will go down your priority list and the next thing you know is that you’ll be 45 and therefore qualified to drive it!!

Put a no year cheap plate on it and it will look younger.

Dave Cameron did for the GS what Alan Partridge did for the Rover 800.

Go for it. Dave did.

In a lease that’s got a year to run, but think will scratch the Lexus itch when it goes in. Also second hand car prices in general might have cooled by then, potential for more barge bargains!

Had w124 and omega in past, but there’s something very old man about Lexus IMO.

I’m 40 and was discussing with a mate (who’s 42) about Lexus and the idea of having one (more the 250 though), it came from no where but we both liked the idea, not sure why laugh

Make sure Radio 4 comes on when you turn the ignition.

Bring your travelling rug and AA map to check if they will fit on the parcel shelf, too.

Seriously, it looks like a really nice motor. I wouldn’t worry about running costs or mpg or any of that malarkey in the 5grand range - buy in condition - that looks great.

Either Hyundai copied that rear haunch detail from Mercedes, or Mercedes copied it from Hyundai.

Might just be the shadow but that bootlid is giving me strong E65 7-series vibes rather than Mercedes.

I don't think it looks anything like an E65?!

I have a serious want for a Genesis 3.8. Heated/cooled/electric everything and hopefully Korean reliability to boot. Next to none around though, which I think will make finding one more satisfying smile
