Best Lease Car Deals Available? (Vol 3)

Auto (and Petrol strangely) does seem to bump up the price, but the wife won that argument!
The auto uplift is annoying - wish we'd get to the US position where auto is pretty well standard.I wouldn't buy a diesel now but no problem leasing one, and diesel engines suit SUVs better than smaller petrol's. Missus has a Tiguan diesel DSG and it's effortless to drive.

Thanks for your help.
Yes that was the one on CH&L that I found to be the cheapest.
The BMW is out as I had a 3 series previously which my wife hated.
The diesel A4 may be an option but I would rather stick to petrol give the mileage we do.
As good as the Golf has been, I would prefer to get something different. We also need more room than the Golf offers.
I'll keep on the look out. There seems very little in the way of good value deals recently.
Yeah, I suppose the thing is you would appear to have your head set one one particular car, which isn't normally the most cost effective way to do leasing unless it conveniently appears as an offer. But there isn't a lot on offer anyway TBH.Yes that was the one on CH&L that I found to be the cheapest.

I know there were favourable S5 deals a month or two ago which were under £400 p/m but we need the boot space of the Avant.
S5 sportback deals are still around. Unless you're shifting furniture or great danes, 'real world' boot space probably isn't much different.6+23, £423 : https://www.stablevehiclecontracts.co.uk/audi-s5-s...

I will have in about a month.... I have a Golf R hatch now and it just about scrapes "big enough" but the Mrs has a Kia Sportage so that's the family car! But before she got that the Golf was the biggest car we had and we managed.Hitch said:
What is AVC?
Think he means this link i had to find myself.Works out at £11,800 over the two years with no options, so £500/£600 more expensive than the CVL and FS deals but not bad, cheaper than the one the previous guy posted.
Just have to edit the settings to include full road tax as default it is only set to 1st year only.
I changed the parameters to 9+23 and it was
£362.88 x 23 = £8346
initial £3500
10k mpa
total £11,846 including tax over the term.
Cant find any mention of fee though.

Have the Kia Optima Sportwagon deals been discussed on here? I can't seem to work the search function specifically enough!!
I think there was a mention a few pages back but not sure!I too cannot find it using search.... so its either a bad system, we don't know how to use it properly or we are looking for something not there!

how does it really differ from a lease? You pay a larger amount in month 1, you pay monthly rentals, then you give it back. Not sure PCP includes your road tax maybe? Big deal.
PCH is best suited to people who fundamentally get it that motoring has a cost, and aren't hung up on the idea of "owning" their car. Because they know "owning" a car, unless you pay cash, means being sold a finance package I guess I could be more conventional and do a comparison:
PCP
A finance CONTRACT to help you PURCHASE a car, which you can hand back after a fixed term. The interest rate is not set in your favour. The full value of the product goes on your credit record. Oh, and whilst you're in the dealership, they cross-sell you other products like wheel insurance. When the product ends, you use the equity in the car to start another PCP arrangement, or, find the balloon payment and buy your lump of metal outright, which now needs servicing. If you go over agreed mileage, they recalculate the perceived value of the car. In your head, it's your car, so when gravel chips your paint you spend time and money fixing it. You might even get a bit angry.
PCH
You sign a contract to rent someone's car. The cost of extra mileage is in the contract. You know with a high degree of accuracy the cost of motoring in your life. You give the car back at the end. If a stone chips it, you don't really give a sh**, because it's not your car.
