Just seen this on CHL's Facebook page, seems very cheap at £171.39 amortised:

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/main-dealer...

Seat Leon 1.4 TSI 125 Xcellence Technology 5dr [Leather]
10k Miles p/a
9+35 £140.23 per month
Very tempting, after something to replace my wife’s yeti lease, may fist fruit on this one.
Got my dad a Leon FR from LeaseHub. Think it was £180 on a 3 x 23 with 10k per year.

I'd say great price. Would also like to know where from. How many miles though?

I believe there is a planned VAG factory closure as they can't meet the emissions regulations?
It's that they haven't got time to test everything before the deadline. WLTP doesn't add more requirements (i.e. all cars comply) it's that any car to be sold after August needs to have been tested and they need to test every combination of every option that may affect CO2 or MPG

I'm sure they've thought of this, and hopefully of a snazzier name, but surely they could test and then produce a few "Emissions Specials" with a reasonable amount of kit included to make them attractive - rather than shutting down production.

That's what Seat have done with their new Arona. They are all standard trim levels all paints are no cost option and they have added a couple of Lux specials. You cannot specify options.

Rumour has it that they will be going to "packs" rather than individual items for options, but I'd imagine it's that nothing really happens quickly in the car industry in terms of changes required (as in it's all planned long in advance) and the WLTP has been thrown in there like a grenade (which is all down to VW anyway in fairness) with a (by usual standards) short deadline. Whether that's really the case or not I don't know. It could be that they have been redesigning the cars somewhat to improve the figures in the new tests and so have left it to the last minute to carry tests out. It's not about compliance, as long as the vehicle is tested it complies, it's that the results will be for everybody to see so they will want them to be as good as possible.

Decent deal on the 124 Abarth....

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/independent...

Total lease cost on 8k per year on a 3+23 of £5213.52 + £299 broker fee = £5512.52. List price is £30,826 so works out around 17% if my maths is right there?

Not sure if best ever but looks like a good deal to me. Well under the 25% guide.

Yeah although there’s not an amazing deal currently available that interests me at the moment.

And I know you shouldn’t go into leasing with 1 car in particular in mind but I have! Anyone seen this cheaper elsewhere?

A couple of weeks ago I saw some dirt cheap automatic BMW 2 Active Tourer and a Grand Tourer prices.

A friend is after a cheap automatic mpv or suv family car, but I can’t remember where I saw these BMWs and can’t find any similar deals on them now - have they missed the boat? Pleaty of cheap manual cars available, not many autos

Have just ordered the below. Not outstanding but seems okay in this arid desert of lease deals (mad to think I had a Golf R for similar money in 2014!) :

VW Golf 1.5 EVO TSI SE Nav - DSG
8,000 miles / year
3x23

£650 up front
£224 per month
Direct with dealer - no fees

About 25% of list price

Drop me a message if you’d like the dealer details.
Hey there, looking to get the exact same thing - can you send me the details of the dealer please?

Deepens if SEL spec is essential to you.

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/main-dealer...

Fees seem odd considering its a main dealer, might be negotiable.

I picked up mine for £4 more per month with Metallic paint direct from dealer without fee, so it can be had if people are looking!

It all comes down to whats in stock however.

Given the new VAG way of leasing if it's funded by VWFS you should be able to walk into any dealer and get the same deal, they're all on the same database now.
Unless this specific dealer is offering their own contribution it'll be no better than anywhere else.

I guess they've seen brokers being able to charge so they're having a go too.

OTOH some dealers will rebate part of the initial payment.

Tiguan you linked to is 4Motion, the SEL offer isn't. Quite a different feel to the 4Motion cars but it hits MPG a little.
