They asked where I had heard about the deals so I told them piston heads and there response was that they new about the post and was trying to get it taken down. Don’t think these deals are available to the masses.

Just fisted the kumquat on another Golf Gti. We like the one we got last year so much we decided to repeat the exercise. Got worse terms as had to take metallic and pay broker's fee this time but allcarleasing were great to deal with.

£7601 all in on a 3+23 5 door manual at 5000 mpa in atlantic blue with manual box. In stock so should get it within a month.

Man maths made it 26% but them's the vagaries.

(Deal last year was £6864 all in on 1 + 23 for same car but solid white and 8000mpa so obv not as good but who knows what's around the corner. I fully expect some £200 per month action come 1 July and much wailing of teeth.)

I thought they were mainly aimed at people who worked in the public sector, union members etc

Are the deals that special? We have family members in the NHS and whenever we've looked at "NHS" deals they've been worse than stuff available elsewhere.

Usually NHS deals include maintenance and insurance which makes them look expensive.

For those on the Eternal Quest for Golf R.
Central mailshot today £3000 down then £251.99 x 23
8000 miles

Interesting also a Mini II JCW for £2159.99 down then £179.99 x 23
8000 miles

All VAT inclusive

Apologies if this has been posted before.
Link? It's not showing on the site.
I just smashed the kumquat on the JCW deal. I'm rather happy about it, especially @ 6.4ppm.

There is one car left as of late this afternoon (White Silver with a black roof).

Starlight Blue with a black roof for me, which would have been my first choice anyway.

No, I didn't mean the NHS lease car deals - they're only available in some Trusts and to some employees. I think the Affinity type things are available to anyone who simply works there.

I might be thinking of a different firm, or they've changed their model though - the one I'm thinking of used to more openly advertise to Police, NHS etc.

Sorry my mistake smile

I've set some of those up for my customers in the past, they're usually the same as the usual pch deals just branded in the customers name with a unique email address.

Is there a confirmed build week for when MY19 comes in?

Ive been told if my car has not been given a BW by week 31 it will be a MY19 car which starts BW 37. I said earlier the 1.4 has been discont and likely be replaced by the 1.5 but dealer said it could be that 2.0 petrol is the only petrol available moving forward with two different power outputs. Seemed unlikely but went on the german audi site today and the only petrol engine you can spec is the 2.0 so might be something in it

You might be right there mate. I had a look too on the German site and it's only 2.0 petrol available. I had a look on the fleet section of the UK site and they only had 2.0 as well.... although ive never looked at that bit before.
I was told only the other day by the dealer that they are expecting bw's to be released in July.... we'll see.

My Cupra 290 goes back mid Oct so I thought I had loads of time.... maybe not at this rate.

I ordered the 2.0 with the Tech Pack; I requested delivery in December so am hopeful I may end up with a MY19 build. Will keep an eye on the Tracker; for last two months it has been at status 00; hopefully it will stay there for a few more weeks!!

Yep 1.4 manual with tech pack. Same here... I'd happily take the 2.0 although it's the same 150ps but more efficient? (I'm not too clued up on them).

I'll give it until end of July for a bw and if nothing I'll have to make a decision to possibly cancel it.

Probably stupid to even ask, but do we expect better deals on Golf's (GTI, R) come Q3?

I'm planning to pull the trigger on the Central deal posted yesterday for the R, but maybe it's prudent to wait a week.

For anyone considering a Merc glc there are some great deals on in-stock amg line models, 220d and 250d. Gateway leasing and select leading are pushing these. Merc trying to clear the decks by sounds.

Just signed up to a glc 250d amg line with upgraded 20" alloys in metallic black for £500 per month 3/23 at 15k miles per annum.

I also have the 2.0 with Tech Pack on order - Ordered it around end of April, spoke with dealership yesterday and there are currently no build dates available for any of the cars they’ve got on order. But they’ve told me I’ll be getting the MY19 model, possibly around late September, but obviously couldn’t confirm that date. Differences between current spec and MY19 are apparently a different front bumper, folding mirrors as standard, and the square exhausts like the A6. Didn’t mention 20” alloys. So not a massive difference, but I’m happy to wait...

I asked about an R. Best they could offer was £387 per month amortised which i didnt fancy.

Also said r and gtd will only be offered as dsg from my19 onwards so if you want a manual r it's now or never.

Suggested that rather than offer 'silly' pch deals vw were more likely to sell as pre-reg come Sep for unsold stock given wltm.
