had no problems never took tyres with them just maintenance services, only thing with them is they wont let you extend your lease unless you have took another car with them.
Thanks. Not too fussy on return? Was the servicing provided by dealers?
Not extending hopefully shouldn't be a problem.ainly wanted to check they don't try and rip up off and that the maintenance cover is comprehensive.

What's the general feeling of leasing with Arnold Clarke? And how is the service/maintenance/tyres package?
Maintenance/service with your local dealer (mine was Mercedes)Tyres you can get replaced at a few places like Kwik Fit without any hassle - I had a puncture, took it into them and said it was a lease. They did all the paperwork and was done within an hour or so.
As Maxwell said, we can't extend though so I am likely to be without a car after November if I don't find a stock one now.

Yeah I couldn’t find anything better than that. Intelligent car leasing seemed to be the best - I found a couple pretty close or just under on price but they were all 48 month and when I switched to 36 the price went way over, so I was happy to go with theirs.
Only issue I had was getting the finance approved. Passed the credit check, they asked for wage slips. Provided them, they asked for bank statements. Provided them, they then rejected me. Broker said he couldn’t understand why. He went back to them, couple of weeks went by and I assumed it had fallen through. Broker even came back to me with Tucson deals, then all of a sudden I was approved!
So now just trying to make my mind up about committing on it. I think the only thing stopping me is I’m slightly concerned about the size of the boot. I’m trying to tell myself that I’m just being silly. We rarely fill the boot but I’m coming from an Arteon which has a cavernous boot so 350ish litres feels pokey. On the flip side, the Tucson is a much bigger car with just over 600l boot space - not as pretty or quick, but nice… need to make my mind up!
Seems we have similar tastes and requirements! I too am looking at the Tucson, but it isn't as good looking as the Formentor and the Cupra badge has bit more kudos to my mind. I too was a little taken aback by the relatively small boot of the Formentor, but I'm coming out of a Megane RS so isn't so much of an issue for me. Only issue I had was getting the finance approved. Also considering the RAV4 deals others have posted on here, but I don't think I like how it looks. Saw one in the metal the other day and the angles and lines look all over the place! But I have to make my mind up soon, quoted delivery Feb/March on the Formentor and that was 2 weeks ago so need to get moving!

Do you 2 not fancy the qashqai deal mentioned up there?
Had a Qashqai for the day last year and was a good car, but was smaller than I was expecting and didn't excel in any particular field. And it would be £277 for the deal I'd want, so for £100 more I can get the Formentor which is better looking, faster and more unusual (with the £100 saved in fuel as I'd use the electric only for my 13 mile each way commute to work....) If anyone is interested in the VW ID3 Tour - top of the range and 340 miles range - this deal looks decent if you consider free insurance for a year and a few charging point. https://www.leaseloco.com/car-leasing/volkswagen/i... Delivery Jan - Mar.

Apologies, this is not a dig directed at you, but it irks me at the way ranges are stated on EV's. The actual real world range of the VW ID3 Tour is 200 miles - that is during cold weather (this is the UK) on a motorway. I don't care that it can do 410 miles in the city in the summer, because I'll never get range anxiety doing city driving round town, and am never likely to do 410 miles of city driving in a day. I need to know how far I can go up or down the country on a single charge.Sorry, just had to get that off my chest.

Do you have a Tour model, or even an EV? I have a non-tour and it does 190 motorway miles in winter. I would imagine then that a Tour would do significantly more than 200.Sorry, just had to get that off my chest.

New Nissan Qashqai £229 + £1500 upfront at ZenAuto includes choice of Metallic + Pan roof says October delivery.
And who is this with Jakey?I thought your figures were abit cheap at 229 a month

So it's somewhere between 200 and 255 miles - likely to be around 220 based on 255 being at 23 degrees with no A/C and certainly not the 340 miles range stated. Clear as mud.
Fair enough. Don't get too focussed on range. If you need 300 motorway miles a day, EV probably isn't for you, yet. Most ICE are 10-20% worse on fuel in winter in my experience.Just to join in on the EV chat - have signed up for a Lexus ux300e (claimed range 200 miles, "real" range nearer 150 miles, which is fine for a normal day.
We'll use the other car for longer journeys).
Wife finally came around to an EV saying something like "I won't ever have to go to / queue at a petrol station - just plug it in at night and it'll be warm when I get in on a morning!".
Premium Pack Plus + Met Paint
3+35, 10k miles/year, £380
(so £14.5k over 3 years, which is about 32% of the OTR price of >£45k)
Elec only - so a decent annual fuel saving, but will have to pay a bit more on insurance, and £600 for a home charging point (could manage without that I suppose).
