I don't think the deals are as strong as they were last year. You get the odd stonking deal (S5), and the rest seem to be 'ok' at bestBuy a C1 1.2 with a 3 percent loan if you want one is my advice at the moment.
Same goes for most cars I see.

You get the odd stonking deal (S5), and the rest seem to be 'ok' at bestI think Brexit and the new tax rules will be/are being used to push prices up and probably more than they need to go up. Leasing is growing and the need for these mega deals is probably lessening. Also, we used to see VAG give the best offers by a mile and VW are suffering from having a stack of bog standard Golf R's on their forecourts so may be re-thinking their lease strategy.
I think we will see more offers appear slowly in Q2 but Q3 tends to be strongest as the manufacturers have a last push to boost annual sales numbers by giving offers in Q3 for Q4 delivery. But the glory days are gone I think.
Still if you re-adjust expectations there are still decent deals even now on Polo GTI, Skoda Octavia VRS, Audi A4, S5 Sportback, Leon FR, Astra Elite etc

Received my Skoda Octavia VRS TDI DSG (and breath..) this morning. It was delivered to my work so I've not taken it for a proper spin yet but it seems pretty fantastic so far.
It was from Hub Leasing. My contact was called Graham and I'd highly recommend him to anyone. V good service throughout, and answered all my inane questions. This is my first lease and it was a comfortable process from step 1.

Just got off the phone to Simpsons.
The saloon is 699 + 23 x 249 and the estate is the same but 269 a month.
They are also willing to rearrange to a 1+23 at no extra cost.
Good deal..
Only issue for me is that they are a minimum 14 week manufacture time which means I would be without a car for at least 4 weeks.
Anybody got any good ideas for a 4 to 6 week gap filler??

I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a lease on a car that's decent for commuting? Looking for good comfort, good MPG and ideally 5 doors.
15,000 p/a mileage required
Budget between £150 / £200 / month
Ideally low initial payment also
I know I may be dreaming on the above, but hopefully something is out there!

There was that Astra Elite deal a few pages ago.
I'm sure you can up the mileage or just pay the excess.

Many other sites as well, but I haven't seen any thing particularly "WOW".

Astra Elite Nav 1.4 Turbo. Got one for the mother in law and pretty damned good I have to say - loaded with kit. 1509 down and 167 a month on a 24 month lease at 15k per annum. Nice comfy leather seats and a good ride would make it ideal. The only thing to look out for is it doesnt come with cd player so if you wanted one spec it (about 100 quid). Maintenance was also about 11 quid a month and covered everything so worth a conversation with them too.

I recommended to someone at dinner that they get a cheap lease as apposed to them buying a <£1500 car, having seen lots of Citroen C1 etc deals over the past year or so at good prices. Just looked at contracthireandleasing and there's only one car on 3+23 under £125/month. Do we need to wait for the new financial year for good deals.. or?
V4B offering a C1 1.2 PureTech Flair 5Dr on a 9+23 deal£963.90 inc VAT initial
£107.10 inc VAT x 23
10k per annum
Not a fantastic deal, but approaching "cheap enough" levels

Hi can anyone help. I'm looking for a Golf R Estate lease deal, on the new 310 version.
Ideally a small deposit, over 24 months @10k miles.
Current deals don't seem what they were a year ago and the best I can find is through Yes Lease 1+23 at £394 / month.
Forgive me if this is an obvious question but is now a good or a bad time to pick up a deal? New model so in short supply, so less deals, but as it's new, lower depreciation so potentially better deals? Also end of March is historically a decent time for lease deals. Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated? I'd rather hold out a bit longer if deals are likely to pick up...

If your current lease is going back 4/6 weeks early its worth making a phone call to extend it on an adhoc basis.Anybody got any good ideas for a 4 to 6 week gap filler??
