Alpina B5 Touring is pretty anonymous, especially debadged and destriped. Wonderful ride quality and interior, mega pace and to many it looks like a diesel estate. laugh
Amen brother.
How does a car’s look indicate the fuel powering it?
Also how is the interior different to a properly specced 5 series?

It's fairly obvious , a quick glance of all BMW 5 series estates made after 2015 on Autotrader and there are over 700 for sale, of those only 34 are petrol thus it is fair to assume that the vast majority are diesel/hybrid.

As for interiors, Alpina do a lot of their own interior manufacturing and allow customers huge amounts of customisation.

What about an Audi A7? I can't imagine many people caring much about one of those driving past. Especially if you got it in a non-obnoxious trim.

You get the toys, the space, the comfort and it just looks like an audi.

I dunno, read up on the design brief and the production of the phaeton, it's pretty interesting and loaded with small but very expensive details, so much so I believe they were always just a halo car and weren't actually that profitable?

The Range Rover might attract more attention than a gen 1 Flying Spur, which basically resembles a stretched Rover 75.

Or if you win the lottery I doubt local pond life would give the Lagonda Taraf a second glance
Pretty rare now, but there was a LWB version of the Rover 75. Used by Prince Edward and many cabinet members in its day.
