Hi folks. Long term lurker here. I’m due to return the wife’s car soon, it’s through Lex. With me being unable to get in touch with them would anyone know what alloy wheel charges are like? The car is pretty rough on the wheels (Clio with the silver alloys with black inserts). I can get them repaired for approx £100 a wheel.
Personally I wouldn't bother. The majority of lease charges for wheels I have seen are for between £30-80 per wheel, and a bit more if diamond cut. My previous lease through hitachi finance was £60 a wheel regardless of damage amount. I’m with leaseplan currently and it’s £15 for minor damage and £77 for more serious damage.
Sometimes you can get charges online, but can’t seem to find any for lex. Shame cos my next lease is with them
Lex also didn't charge me anything despite one alloy being quite bad and the stone chips on a clio's cheap and thin paint were ridiculously bad. It also had a bad scratch on hte roof although it was quite small but very visible, it went through the auctions as a grade 3, still no extra charges.

Good deal and better than the usual Terry's Chocolate Orange for 50p. Amusing reading the cashback crew debating CVT. Clueless as to why it's a good application in a hybrid. a311 said:
Will be time to start looking for my main lease replacement soon as my Volvo CC goes back in October. Anything about on a similar sized estate?
This is about the same size;https://leasing.com/independent-brokers/v4b-ltd/au...

Just placed an order for T Roc R. Seems a very reasonable price and also considerably cheaper than a Golf R. (Even though the T Roc is more expensive at full retail and has the upgraded performance R brakes and 19inch wheels as standard) I previously had a Golf R Estate on the mega deals of years gone by (£175 a month) and thought it was the most all round competent car I had owned. Very comfortable, great performance and practical. Never sat in a T-Roc before but looks to be just a golf but slightly bigger in an SUV suit. Hoping I will be happy with it fr two years. (Was going to go for 3 years but decided to take the 2 years with a possible 6 month extension at the same price. Also taking out maintenance as I remember on the previous Golf R, you can rip through tyres and pads which curtailed my driving towards the end of the contract so I could get away with not replacing them before handing the car back.

Would do the job just about.....Hi All,
Looking at getting my next lease deal for a replacement car i need for end of August. I've currently got an E-class saloon but trying to get a medium SUV or estate so we have a bit more space
Looking at this A4 deal but i'm not sure if we can expect some super deals over the next few months with manufacturers trying to catch up on sales...

About 22% against the P11d.

i posted this previously from hotukdeals (cheaper than above deal). Tempted but debating whether there will be more deals coming up.Looking at getting my next lease deal for a replacement car i need for end of August. Also tempted by the above a4 avant deal. Nothing really about iCarlease online tho. One user on this forum gave them an absolute stinker of a review. I've only ever leased through VWFS or Santander and both have been reasonable on returns, fines etc. Not sure about trusting a smaller funder. Probably more likely to be really picky over returns, extensions etc
