I've narrowed it down to a xc90(there's 2 years warranty/servicing etc on approved used).

Or a vw toureg. gut says the toureg will tow better, the xc90 will hold its money better.

A mate picked up a 2017 approved used XC90 last year and has been really happy with it. Dealers are generally good.

there's some v90's at work that have been zero issue.

its only towing 10% or less of the time, the rest of the time I think it'll work well as a big family car.

This is the one i'm looking at

https://www.clivebrook.co.uk/used-cars/16073130-vo...

2 years warranty/servicing/mot's included(just trying to get them to include a tow bar........).

Or something like this

https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/porsch...

The Volvo looks good, high spec as I guess it was a Volvo UK car by the numberplate. MOT history looks clean.
Just double check the tyres as I think they'll be 20 or 21".

The dealership group have a good rep, I used to Golf with the founder..

Go for the Volvo (that way you can sell the scales otherwise you would need them for the Porsche)

See if you can get them to throw in the Polestar Optimisation upgradeit does make a difference, not huge but worth it.

A happy ending, despite all the stress and wasted time. Glad you're sorted, the Volvo looks a much better car anyway!
