I'm just about to take up a job offer but the company policy on cars is a little bit disappointing.
Must be:
- under 4 years old
- diesel
- less than 130g of CO2

I currently run a Saab 9-3 Turbo X which is none of the above.
I'd been considering a Discovery (before the job offer) but they are 206g

I've had a look at the leasing thread and searched some manufacturer sites but, well, it's all a bit underwhelming
I can see that a new Passat might be a very nice place to spend time, but when I've specced one up to £40k then it's looking frankly ridiculous.

A lease deal looks the best option (done it before, no issues so not something I want to debate) but leasing that £40k Passat would take a chunk of my salary along with the car allowance.

I'm not averse to using my own money to get a nice car - it's got to be a nice place to spend time if it's going to be a boring, eco-diesel - but I don't want to go mad.

The Skoda Superb estate is looking a possibility. Any other suggestion?
I'm ruling out a 320d, A4 and (because the decent ones are all >130) the A6

225d?
Various quick Audis - A3/4/5/7/TT?
525d?
JCW Mini?
Volvo S90/V90?
Octavia vRS?
Giulietta?
Focus ST?
Jaguar XE/XF?
There are some other rules that rule some of those out and some factors I need to include
Company rules
- 4 door
- not coupe or soft top

My requirements
- big enough for child seats behind the driver

So that's BMW 2 series, Audi A3, A5, TT, Mini and Giulietta definitely ruled out.

Focus Diesel ST is a possibility but it's not exactly being raved about in EVO long term test
The Volvo and the Jags are possibilities
