Fun car for 5k

Hi guys, this is my first post here so be nice!
I have recently reached 21 years of age, and the insurance gods seem to have deemed me safe enough to drive something a bit more exciting than my current vehicle. I am currently driving a Suzuki Swift Sport on a 13 plate, and whilst it is a lovely car and a laugh to thrash round, i find myself wanting a bit more 'oomph'. I now find myself in a position where i can change car without too much hassle, and have set myself a budget of £5000-£6000 for a new motor. Ideally it needs to have some form of forced induction, as I would like to have somewhere to go with the car performance wise. Every other aspect i will leave up to you guys. It doesn't need to be good on fuel or at all practical, so go nuts!
At the moment i have been looking at the mk1 Mazda 3 MPS and the Corsa VXR, both of which fall nicely within budget, but am open to suggestions!
